The Covernotes is a live function and party band that plays everything from the classics to current floor fillers to get your party started. We play weddings, functions and corporate events. We are fun and flexible with a professional attitude. We are all experienced in performing live having played hundreds of gigs up and down the country for various corporate and private events. We are reliable performers, able to turn out energetic performances of the highest calibre. We are immaculately turned out, friendly, accommodating and enthusiastic, always giving 100%. We carry our own professional instruments with a full PA setup.

Customer questions

Will the singer be the same as who I see in the videos?

Yes. All of our group sing with the keyboard and guitar player being the 2 main singers in the band.

Do you have different line-up options?

Yes we can vary the line up with, depending on what you would like but our standard is the 4 piece set up. We can play 3 piece as drums, guitar and bass if you need to manage budget.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

Generally this is ok and we can be flexible and accommodating.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Yes. This is a popular request and we allow for this as standard in our pricing.

How much time do you need to set up?

1.5 hours, assuming good access to the stage / set up area.

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

Our set lists are crafted from countless performances and learning what works best to ensure guests dance and have an amazing time. However, we're definitely happy to chat through and make sure we find what works for your event.

Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?

Our PA system is allowed for in the quote, and as part of our consultation we can test if this is appropriate or adjust based on your requirements

Can you learn song requests before the event?

If a song isn't included in our song list there may still be a chance we already know it. If there is a special song you'd like us to learn we are happy to do this for you. There is a fee of $50 for this service to take into account rehearsal times etc.
