International Ukulele Star Marc Gallagher and Pop Powerhouse Emma Connor have now joined forces to bring a life to your parties and events! Having met and worked together for years in the Manchester music scene, 2022 saw them team up their talents at bars all around the North West with ever-expanding clientele. With both of them straying away from their typical academic backgrounds to pursue music full-time, their current schedules online and offline have proven a result of graft and grinding, proving themselves as draws and as great entertainment value. Individually, Marc and his ukulele have taken him to festivals in 11 countries, as well as the cover of UKE Magazine. Emma has acclaimed original material and a powerhouse voice, and together their blend of talents incorporates tight harmonies, fun energy and engaging song choices.

I've known Marc and Emma for a while on the songwriting circuit, and while I adore their original material, their covers duo as Ten Strings of Pop is phenomenal. From Marc's flashy ukulele to Emma's gorgeous voice, they have a really fun song selection that helps them to stand out from your standard acoustic acts. I hope more people book them and get to see how great they are!

What do your clients love most about your performances?

That it's such a unique blend of ukulele, powerful vocals, and songs you don't expect to hear.

Which venues have you performed at in the past?

We have performed regularly at the Botanist family of venues all around the North West, as well as appearing at Congleton Unplugged.

Do you have different line-up options?

We just come as a duo. Marc and Emma are available as solo artists, you can find out about or individual work on our individual profiles.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

We always try our best to be flexible to help ensure your event runs as smoothly as possible. If timings change slightly in the run up to the event just let us know

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

We normally let the venue sort it but this could be accommodated at a slight surcharge.

How much time do you need to set up?

We need approximately 1 hour to set up.

Can you roam around while you perform?

Unfortunately we are attached to our equipment so we won't be able to roam around while performing.

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

Our set lists are crafted from countless performances and learning what works best to ensure guests dance and have an amazing time. However, we're definitely happy to chat through and make sure we find what works for your event

Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?

Our PA and lighting system is included in your quote. We usually require a minimum of 3m by 3m space to perform

Can you learn song requests before the event?

If a song isn't included in our song list there may still be a chance we already know it. If there is a special song you'd like us to learn we are happy to do this for you. There is a fee of £40 for this service to take into account rehearsal times etc
