The Techtonics

The Techtonics are the latest musical sensation to spring from the unlikely pastures of Imperial College in London. We are an all-male vocal group, with a set including a variety of our own arrangements of well-known (and some less well-known) rock and pop songs. Founded in 2008, the group has gone from strength to strength and is now well established in the London, UK and global A Cappella music scenes. We love to travel, having completed tours around the UK, Europe and the USA. The group also released it’s debut album ‘Groundbreaker’ in 2012, which was extremely well received, gaining international acclaim and awards. Our second album, 'Clockwork' (2015) was similarly well recieved and was toured around the USA in 2015. The third album, 'Inertia', is set for release in the Autumn of 2023. Select performances in the last few years include opening the Harrods Boxing Day Sales, performing live on set for the new series of an upcoming Sky 1 comedy and being talent scouted by EMI whilst busking at Waterloo station. More regularly, the group can be found busking at Covent Garden on Saturday mornings, and they also hold regular concerts and social events at Imperial College. As the only group outside of North America to have won the International Championship of Collegiate A Cappella (ICCAs), we are known the world over for our signature energy and charisma. Whatever the occasion, we'll bring the hype.
