Joe didnt introduce himself when he first arrived. He played the saxophone really well however there was no interaction with the guests no one knew he began and there was no excitment or getting people in the party mood. I feel he would be best suited to play more intimate gigs than be entertainment at a party.

Joe was a very nice man, it looks like he was making quite an effort ( specially because the party had a lot of Latin music ) to deliver a nice experience. We would have liked him to be more engaged with the audience and be a bit more noticeable, communicate more what music he felt comfortable to play along to get the best out of the experience. I think in the future it would be good to take this into account for future parties or gatherings. Either way we thank him for his services.

I went to a gig to see these guys played exactly 7 months ago (March 9th), and what I saw were an electric and powerful performance where a range of styles, flavours were displayed onstage, but the energy and atmosphere remained consistently high throughout. I would definitely recommend any considering booking the Band for any occasion, and they deliver a very versatile and high quality performance.

Had a smashing time at the Impossible Manchester! NGUVU (aka Major 6s) were performing live. I do love a live gig! Drums, vocals, guitars the works, really do get me on the dance floor. NGUVU were brilliant! They had the full shebang including a sax player! What band do you know with a sax player?! They performed their own tunes and well as a good few classics every one knows and can sing along too. They even invited me up on the stage to sing along with them! Fancy that?! If your up for a good time and love funk/soul then I highly recommend NGUVU/Major 6s live, you will not be disappointed- I wasn't! Hats off to them! Nya.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

Just get in touch, this usually won't be a problem!

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Yes, I am a competent DJ with professional gear.

How much time do you need to set up?

Minimum half an hour, but usually I'd like to set up before audiences arrive to fully test the sound. For PA included, at least 2 hours.

Can I pick the pieces you play from the set list?

The live saxophone set list is pre-mixed, but with enough warning I can remix the set to accommodate.

Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?

Yes, with the exception of PA (available as an add-on)

Can you learn specific pieces before the event?

With enough notice, I can learn specific songs and I charge £30 per song.

Which venues have you performed at in the past?

Everything from the smallest bars - to festivals such as Sonder, Pangaea, Cultureshock - club venues such as Revolution, Fac251 - concert venues such as the Royal Albert Hall, Symphony Hall, Notre Dame Cathedral - stadiums such as The Coral Windows Stadium (25,000 capacity), Odsal Stadium (22,000 capacity) - and many outdoor/pop-up venues
