SPARKK THE BAND

Sparkk The band started in December 2019 as a duo, which now has grown to five-piece band including three experienced session musicians from London. Jamming between two friends in a small room created a Spark back in 2019 that allowed them to rediscover their music passion after many years. Where USMAN having played as lead guitarist with a renowned Band " Jupiters" in Lahore Pakistan for many year and SHAHID with a beautiful textured voice singing many genres including pop, rock, ghazals, & Sufi etc. The 2020 pandemic and lockdown allowed them time to create and rehearse their music. We later were joined by amazing keyboard Player " Farrukh Shuja Khan" , Bass player "Francisco Rodrigues" and a multitalented Professional Drummer " Omar El Barkaoui. We perform covers (Urdu ,Hindi & Pujabi) from PAKISTANI BANDS- Junoon, Strings, Vital Signs, Fuzon BOLLYWOOD- Old is Gold to latest Hindi/Indian songs MUSIC OF GREATS- Ustad Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, Ustad Rahat Fateh Ali khan, Ustad Amanat Ali khan, Ustad Mehdi Hassan Khan, Ustad Ghulam Ali khan, Ustad Asad Amanat Ali khan, The Nightingale Madam Noor Jahan, Melody Queen Lata Mangeshkar, Sufi Queen Abida Perveen & many more. In addition our focus has been on creating our own music & identity. Our First release was back in June 2021, A Tribute to Ustad Asad Amanat Ali khan " Ghar Wapas Jab Aoo gay tum" which has over 1 Million views on major video platforms. Our latest song was an Original Punjabi Track " SPARK KARDA" released in March 2022 and has so far fetched over 500K views on major video platforms. We are looking forward to release our new Originals very soon.
