Featuring a line up of 5 highly experienced musicians and two amazing female singers, Soul Occupants are the ideal band to make any party, wedding or function a night (or day!) to remember, with a steady stream of soul, funk and disco hits from across the decades that will keep the dance floor full throughout the event. We're committed to the highest standards of musicianship, and pride ourselves on faithfully reproducing every song in our repertoire, though sometimes with our own special arrangements and 'mashups' that make our performances distinctive and guarantee a night to remember! We will work with you to tailor our sets to suit your event, and are always willing to work with you to accommodate your budget if we possibly can.

Do you have different line-up options?

Our standard line-up is: two female vocalists, guitar, keys, bass, drums and percussion

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

If your timings change after you have booked us we will always do our best to accommodate your revised schedule. Just get in touch and we'll be happy to discuss with you.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Yes! We're happy to offer this at no extra cost.

How much time do you need to set up?

We'll usually need 2 hours to load in, set up and sound check before performing.

Can you roam around while you perform?

Whilst the musicians in the band are generally in situ during the performance, our lead singer will often roam in the crowd to add to the atmosphere!

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

We generally craft the setlists we'll be performing based on the type of event, but are always happy to discuss your preferences and include any songs you'd particularly like included.

Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?

Yes, all PA and lighting equipment is included in the quote.

Can you learn song requests before the event?

With enough notice, we are happy to discuss any requests to learn particular songs before the event.

On a recommendation from a good friend , I booked The Band Soul Occupants for my 50th birthday party in Chelmsford. I must say from the point of contact with Jez everything seemed so simple. They kept in contact on a regular basis leading up to the event and I was filled with confidence . My party was a Peaky Blinders theme but due to my age I wanted a good variety of songs etc , I was not disappointed . The female lead singer blew us away with her strong vocals and the band were in true harmony all evening. The last hour of my celebration the roof was truly lifted and 130 guests were all on the dance floor and the band quite deservedly received 3 encores . Thank you guys cannot say thank you enough . A BIG THANK YOU me and my guests have not stopped talking about you guys. I’m sure you will be in high demand , you made my 50th an event to treasure.
