As a young musician I began accompanying fellow music students in recitals and performances. This led to 5+ years of experience as an accompanist to soloist musicians and singers. Thanks to this, I have become a strong independent pianist who has played at a great number of family & friends events, weddings, and formal receptions. At these events, I have always received fantastic feedback for the high quality service provided - I adapt to any situation and style/genre requested. My most recent event was at Royal Holloway's Scholarship reception (March 2020). I also have a great experience as a musical director, specialising in theatre and stage productions. Musical Theatre is my passion: my credits include Chicago (Keys 1), Edges (MD & Keys), The Addams Family (Keys 2).

Sofia played the piano for our wedding ceremony and drinks reception. She was extremely helpful beforehand taking time to discuss and help with our music choices and we had many compliments from our guests

Sofia was AMAZING! In the build-up to our wedding she was extremely helpful with plenty of discussion. She offered to learn any songs for us, and tailored the music so that the songs we picked flowed into eachother seamlessly. Our wedding ceremony music was beautiful, she did such a great job and we would hire Sofia again for any event in a heartbeat.

So suitable for the event and such beautiful playing!

Sofía played for a number of weddings during the summertime - the bride and groom and their families were always so happy! She adapted to everyone's requests and made the ceremonies truly beautiful.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

I'm always flexible! Simply let me know as soon as you can - if it's too short notice I may not be able to adapt, but otherwise it shouldn't be a problem!

How much time do you need to set up?

I'll need between 45 minutes to 1 hour.

If I have a piano at my venue, are you happy to perform on that?

Absolutely! As long as it's in tune, it'll most likely provide an excellent sound.

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

My set list is designed based on past experiences and what I think will work for this particular event. But feel free to chat with me in advance if there's anything in particular you'd love for me to play!

Are you able to bring your own piano or keyboard?

Yes, I have my own keyboard!

Can you learn song requests before the event?

Depends on the difficulty and how much notice I've been given - but I encourage you to let me know if there's a specific song you'd like me to learn! If I don't already know it, there is an extra £25 charge for rehearsal time.
