WHO ARE SMOKING GOATS? Smoking Goats is a Hertfordshire four-piece cover band, active since 2015, which plays public, family and corporate events at all levels. Our quirky rock-pop-indie show is a mix of popular classics and quirky "oh I'd forgotten I liked that one!" songs from off the beaten track. Frontwoman Becky Bremner provides vocals and keys, Steve Pearman the guitar, Dave Plummer the bass and Will Jones the big-hitter on the drums. THE SERVICE WE PROVIDE We're a very laid back band and can accommodate most types of situations with our setup, setlist and show length. Well what can I say?…….. other than bloody brilliant! From start to finish the music was amazing, very professional, friendly and such a good vibe! Everyone I spoke to the next day mentioned what a great band you all were and the song choices were great. Thank you smoking Goats for entertaining us all we had a fantastic time! 🤗🤗

We booked the Smoking Goats for my 60th birthday party. They were excellent. We had lots of great feedback from family and friends. A fantastic night was had by all. Would definitely book again.

Smoking Goats were brilliant, I organised a formal dinner dance and they worked perfectly for the night. Discussions before the day were easy and we sorted out all details, song styles and the audience we would have. They came in plenty of time to set up and soundcheck and worked flexibly with us when there were delays on the night. A brilliant set, perfectly crafted for the audience, which really got people on the dance floor and in a great mood. Afterwards I got so much great feedback, the guests loved it. Very easy to work with, professional and with great sound and song choices, I would recommend them for any kind of function especially if you want to get people dancing. :)

Where else would I be on a beautiful evening then watching and listening Smoking Goats play love for the Platinum Jubilee. Incredible songs, incredible outfits and crowd engagement and incredible people what more can I say. Keep it strong guys I know you won’t disappoint! Absolutely amazing 😁🐐🥳🇬🇧

What do your clients love most about your performances?

Our happy-go-lucky stage manner and our illuminated goats' head props!

Which venues have you performed at in the past?

Pubs, clubs and small festivals across Hertfordshire, London and the West Midlands.

Which artists have you been most influenced by?

The artists whom we decide to cover!

What is the most high profile gig you've performed?

The Buntingford Fox & Duck's summer festival in July 2018. Damn near the whole of Buntingford turned up!

Will the singer be the same as who I see in the videos?

The singer, guitarist and bassist are permanent members and play every show. The drummer is not available for all shows, but we have a number of substitutes on call.

Do you have different line-up options?

Our predominant lineup is vocals/keyboards, guitar, bass and drums. If required, we can provide a two or three-piece with no drums.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

We are flexible and can accommodate any changes. Please get in touch with us in advance of the event if anything does change.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

We can provide incidental music for free between sets, so please send us your requirements in advance of the show. We do not offer our own DJ service, but are able to recommend one.

How much time do you need to set up?

Generally we require a minimum of 90 minutes to set up and soundcheck and then a minimum of 30 minutes before the beginning of the first set, for the band to warm up/take refreshments. Please advise us in advance about the room and stage/playing area. Generally we are unavailable to provide incidental music during setup/soundcheck.

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

We have more songs in our catalogue than required for a two hour set, so yes, you may tailor our setlist to suit your event.

Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?

Yes. On occasion we are asked if we can provide a stage. We don't possess one, but can hire one at extra cost.

Can you learn song requests before the event?

We are happy to learn a song if you request it a minimum of two weeks before the event. We charge £30 for a song request, to cover the time/costs of rehearsing. If there is a song in our existing setlist which you or a guest would like to sing, please contact us in advance of the event.
