Comprised of professional musicians Rhythm Swing Jazz bring alive the sound and style of the 1920's and 1930's alive the sounds of vintage swing and gypsy jazz, conjuring up inages of smokey European jazz bars and Parisian cafes. Available in 2-5 piece formats. The band would be perfect for any 1920's Gatsby or 1930's themed party or should you just want a vintage style sound at your event. Available in various formats: - Full 5 piece band with vocals playing vintage swing covers of modern chart hits as well as jazz/swing standards. - Trio with vocals as a reduced version of the full quintet consisting on vocals/violin/guitar. - Traditional instrumental gypsy jazz trio or quarter playing "hot club" style jazz and swing. Perfect for background music during a drinks reception or dinner. - Traditional instrumental gypsy jazz duo playing "hot club" style jazz and swing. Gypsy Jazz Duo - These guys played at our wedding reception whilst we had drinks and canapés on the lawn. They were absolutely awesome. They blended in perfectly and were a pleasure to deal with both before and during our wedding. If you are looking for an acoustic duo for your event I totally recommend these guys !

Booked this band for our company 1920's Gatsby themed Christmas party. Fantastic band! Great arrangements and they included some Christmas hits in 1920's style also. Great communication and very easy to work with. Will look to hire them or one of their smaller formats again for our future company events.

POSK Jazz Cafe, Hideaway Jazz Club, Pizza Express (The Pheasantry) Chelsea, various hotels and function venues around the UK.

Which artists have you been most influenced by?

Django Reinhardt and the Quintet of the Hot Club of France.

Do you have different line-up options?

Yes, we are able to offer from a 2 piece to a 5 piece line up being able to cater for background music during an eg. drinks reception to a full 5 piece band for an evening party.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

We will always do our best to accommodate and it's always best to speak to us as soon as possible so we can try and fit around your adjusted timings.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Yes. This is a very popular request and we are happy to create a bespoke playlist for your party.

How much time do you need to set up?

1.5-2 hours including a sound check.

Can you roam around while you perform?

For the best experience, it's best to have us placed in one area however being acoustic we can move around as the event progresses.

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

Our set lists are crafted from countless performances and learning what works best to ensure guests dance and have an amazing time. However, we're definitely happy to chat through and make sure we find what works for your event.

Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?

Our PA and lighting system is included in your quote.

Can you learn song requests before the event?

If a song isn't included in our song list there may still be a chance we already know it. If there is a special song you'd like us to learn we are happy to do this for you. There is a fee of £40 for this service to take into account rehearsal times etc.
