The music was exquisite, beautiful in the church, then they moved into the garden room whilst the photos were taken to entertain the guests whilst having drinks and canapés. Their repertoire was amazing, classic and modern. I loved them!

VerifiedI asked this wonderful group to play at my wedding for the evening part. They were fantastic. The music was brilliant, the whole experience was just what I was after. During the build up, I was in contact with the group and they sent me the music and confirmed my options. They also kept me up to date about travel plans. VerifiedBacanu Stings provided me with a Cello and Violin Duo to play background music for a military black tie dinner evening. Their music was amazing, they played classical music as well as modern pieces which really got the attention of those at the function. Cris was very easy to talk to building up to the event and was able to work with the traditional elimemts of a military event. I could not recommend them enough and hope to use them again - by far the best musicians I have used at one of these events. A true 5 star performance !!

VerifiedCaroline and Luke played at our wedding on Feb 24th in Bury St Edmunds and I cannot recommend Element String enough. They were absolutely fantastic and I feel lucky to have had them playing at our wedding. So many guests commented on the quality and variety of the music they played and how it created a great atmosphere for the event. From the outset we received quick responses from Caroline and a friendly and flexible approach. She was happy to adjust length of time and number of musicians to fit our budget. We had the duo to play as guests were arriving and having welcome drinks , then through the ceremony itself and for most of the drinks reception that followed. We had thought we would be indoors on the day given it was Feb but due to uncharacteristically hot weather , the drinks were taken outside onto the terrace. Caroline and Luke being very flexible moved outside with us which was amazing. The group have a good repertoire to select from so you can have classical for the more formal moments in your day and something more jazzy afterwards to give a party feel. The duo created the perfect level of sound for the size of our ceremony room and number of guests (around 85). If we had a greater budget we would have taken the trio or even quartet without thinking as their previous reviews were so positive. I’m sad that I didn’t get to meet Caroline and Luke properly to say a big thank you. On the wedding day itself everything just seems to happen around you without you having any chance to veer off schedule. I bumped into Caroline by chance as I was being shown into the dining room and she was lovely , very warm and friendly. She and Luke arrived nice and early to set up and what is great is they are fully acoustic. Everything you hear is fully their talent and no electrics/amplifiers and wires required so it is easy to set up in almost any part of the room you require. They created such atmosphere for our ceremony - I could not have been more delighted with them. If you are looking for musicians for your wedding or other event that are extremely talented in their range of music, flexible , easy to deal with , fairly priced and transparent - then look no further than Element String.

VerifiedBooked to play at a joint 60th party for me and my twin sister. John was a pleasure to work with during the booking and planning stage. The band are very professional and John and Sara were great lead singers with so much energy and passion backed by a fantastic band. Great interaction with the audience who were up on their feet from the first song to the last. We didn’t want it to end. Many of my friends wondered where I’d found you guys and said what a brilliant band you were. I’d recommend The Covered without hesitation and will also keep an eye out for where they are playing as I’d certainly be interested in seeing them live again or will book them for the next family celebration. Despite hearing a few of Sarah’s songs on YouTube, I was slightly nervous as to how she would sound in real life, rest assured she performed a list of songs that I gave her with ease. My fiancé showed happy tears something that I was not expecting and that was in part to Sarah’s voice adding to the occasion and setting. Highly recommend her for all occasions.
