Katie is an experienced and talented performer based in Perth Scotland. Katie recently released her debut album ‘Shine’, Recorded and produced by David MacFarlane at his studio in Perth. Shine explores young love, self-doubt, perseverance and Katie's own brand of optimistic idealism. With the storytelling of country music, powerful soulful vocals, the hooks of pop hits and that Americana edge that pushes the boundaries of genre and instrumentation, the album embraces every facet of Katie’s musical character. Katie is now available with her band to play your venue, playing a original heavy set with some of Katie’s favourite covers sprinkled around for an all round entertaining night with something for everyone. Katie has been singing and performing in public for 20 years, best known for her long-term role fronting the great Perth Americana ensemble Red Pine Timber Co, alongside the late Gav Munro, Katie has also won acclaim for her shows celebrating the songs of both Etta James and Bessie Smith. Having proven herself as a truly great singer, Katie is now stepping confidently into the spotlight as a songwriter and an artist in her own right. Katie has played at some amazing festivals including, Glastonbury festival, C2C festival, Belladrum tartan heart, Mull music festival and many more, Katie is now looking to gig up and down the UK with her band.
