VerifiedAfter deciding to hire a string quartet for our wedding we searched around for the perfect match and came across Flux Ensemble. From our first interaction Martin was so helpful and answered all of our questions promptly - even offering to try and tie in with the dress code and colour theme on the day which such a thoughtful touch. My fiancé and I were able to look through the extensive repertoire and select our own songs for the ceremony and drinks reception - we were spoiled for choice. When it came around to our wedding, from start to finish the music was absolutely perfect and really completed and made our day. We’ve had no end of guests tell us since how unique it was to have Flux Ensemble there and how truly special it made the wedding ceremony and reception. We are so grateful to Martin, Natalee, Sandy and Natalie and hopefully we can find another occasion to book them again soon.

VerifiedWe hired Vitula for our son’s wedding at Hazelwood Castle and were so, so pleased that we did! From the first contact nothing could have run smoother; Nick’s communication was fantastic. He is so friendly, professional and helpful and was happy to guide us through the process. The music was wonderful, they didn’t stop playing for 2 hours and each song was as fantastic as the last. The ceremony was in a small, intimate room so Nick suggested that 2 of them play for that, watching our lovely bride walk down the aisle to their beautiful music brought tears to many an eye. The quartet were back together for the champagne reception playing music that had been selected by the wedding guests. It really made the wedding very special for everyone. VerifiedEstilo are a musical delight. They played at my son and daughter in law’s wedding before and during the ceremony, post ceremony and for a short while as we sat down to eat. Estilo were punctual, and happy to move from Orangery, to the gardens then into the barn area for the meal. Everyone commented on how lovely it was to have a quartet of this calibre. They played a selection of music as requested by my son and his wife and both were very happy with the experience. We have no hesitation in recommending Estilo.

VerifiedThe string duo were absolutely fantastic, they played our requested songs down for the bride to walk down the aisle and after we got married. They also played for us during our champagne reception. All of our guests remarked how amazing they were so thank you. However, there were a few constructive points to mention. The communication was not great. We often sent messages to confirm arrangements and either got brief responses or none at all. When you are trying to plan a wedding, this doesn't ease the stress of the big day and part of us wondered whether they would turn up! We didn't speak to them on the phone either and weren't offered a call. Perhaps the next point could have been remedied if we'd had more communication but we booked the duo to play for our ceremony and the champagne reception. Half way through the musicians packed up and we had to get the venue staff to go and get them to come back. This was really disappointing and we had guests asking why the music had suddenly stopped! We don't know whether there was a mix up or not...
