Poppy Neame - Classical Crossover Soprano

Poppy Neame is a versatile and passionate performer who will be delighted to entertain whatever the occasion. Whether it be an awards night, charity fundraiser, black tie dinner, anniversary, birthday celebration, wedding or funeral – Poppy will always deliver with an exceptionally high quality and vibrant performance. Poppy performs music from Opera, Classical-Crossover, Musical Theatre, Cabaret, Jazz, Hits and Disney. She also sings in Italian, French and German. Poppy won a scholarship to Chethams School of Music in Manchester for 6th Form and was then lucky enough to study at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London and continued her studies at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance in Greenwich. Poppy then graduated in 2017 with a Bachelors Honours Performance Degree in Classical Voice. One of the highlights during her time at Trinity was being selected for a masterclass with David Gowland, the Artistic Director of the Jette Parker Young Artists Programme. In 2015, Poppy undertook a 6 month international Erasmus Study Placement course at the top Music Conservatoire in Italy, the Conservatorio di musica 'Guiseppe Verdi', Milan. She also had the absolute privilege of performing for British Baritone Sir Simon Keenlyside CBE at the Wessex Solo Singers Opera Course in 2016.
