I'm a trumpet player based in Oxford, and sometimes London. I currently play with Mama Brass, a brass funk band, and the Thames Jazz Collective, which is a group of jazz musicians working in Oxford and London. I also perform with Temple Funk Collective and Dutty Moonshine Big Band, and recently recorded Dutty's debut album "Most Wanted" (2017). I've done a huge variety of performance and recording, including but not limit to jazz orchestras and big bands, dirty brass bands, music for improvised comedy, small group jazz, chinese orchestra, symphony orchestra, chamber ensemble, music for theatre. I also have and can play to DJ. I'm happy learning tunes by ear and using sheet music. Improvisation is not a problem. My current main bands are based in Bristol, Oxford, and London, and play all over the country and sometimes abroad, so I'm happy to travel. I currently live in Oxford. Aside from trumpet, I enjoy unusual instruments. I like playing kalimba.
