We are The Motivators, one of the UK’s top wedding and party/function bands. The Motivators are based in Essex and travel to surrounding areas (London, Hertfordshire, Suffolk, Kent) and beyond. With an impressive reputation for consistently great performances, you’re sure of a great time whatever your event. What do your clients love most about your performances?

Our clients love our enthusiasm and the way get the audience involved, we want to see your dance floor full all night!

Will the singer be the same as who I see in the videos?

We strive to make sure the line-up you see is what you get on the night. We do have pre-audititioned 'dep' musicians available in case a band member falls ill or is unavailable. As a professional band our reputation means everything so you can be confident that all of our players are of a very high level.

Do you have different line-up options?

We can play with line ups from a 2 piece acoustic duo right through to the full 5 piece band. We find that many clients book us for an acoustic set for drinks receptions etc. and we can tailor the line up to suit your requirements and budget.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

We always try our best to be flexible to help ensure your event runs as smoothly as possible. If timings change slightly in the run up to the event just let us know.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Of course, we offer pre-made playlists for free, or for an extra fee we can provide a live DJ complete with decks to take requests from your guests between and after our sets right to the end of your event.

How much time do you need to set up?

Our usual set up time is approximately 45-60 minutes. As soon as our PA is set up we can provide a free playlist service to help set the atmosphere and get your guests ready for our live performance!

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

We usually pick the set through the night to make sure the dance floor stays full. However, if you have any special songs you want us to play from our repertoire, just let us know and we'll make sure we include them. If you book our live DJ they'll be happy to take requests from your guests, we even provide QR codes so you can use our online request service.

Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?

Yes, our PA and lighting system is included in your quote, we just need a suitable space to set up in.

Can you learn song requests before the event?

If you have a special song, for example for your first dance, as long as we can perform it with the instrumentation we have, we are happy to learn it for you at no extra charge. If we can't make it sound great we can play any recorded version you choose. We don't like to make promises as we’d hate to disappoint if it doesn't work! Please do ask though!
