Originally a drummer Michael-James started penning his own songs at the age of 15. He has since then released a debut E.P, supported Skinny Living on their uk tour, played at many festivals across Northern Ireland and competed in many songwriting finals. He also has 7 years gigging experience from busking to weddings, church events, private and cooperate events and bar gigs. A set list of over 500 songs of covers and originals if requested, Michael James is very flexible to work with.

Michael-James sang at our wedding on Sunday..he is a brilliant singer and a gentleman..all our guests raved about him and he was one of the highlights of our day..he sang some particularly special songs during the service and then he chose the loveliest tunes to sing as our guests mingled ..he played longer than he had to..right up till we were called into dinner..we can't recommend him highly enough..he was a pleasure to deal with and so friendly and well mannered..if you need a wedding singer this is your guy...X

What do your clients love most about your performances?

We’re not just there to be in the background - otherwise you’d have a CD playing. We’re Hired as live entertainment and Were there to give your guests that.

Which venues have you performed at in the past?

We’ve performed in many bars, hotels and restaurants across Northern Ireland. Including dalriada and sunflower festival. We’ve also performed in Croatia and Caribbean islands.

Which artists have you been most influenced by?

What is the most high profile gig you've performed?

Supporting Skinny Living on their UK tour.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

Nine times out of ten when you book us you’re in our diary’s for the whole day. So we are usually pretty flexible. Within enough notice we should be able to accommodate and we will always try our best to do so within reasonable circumstances.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

I am more than happy to play a playlist of choice or one I’ve premade before my set whilst setting up and during my break free of charge. However if you wish for me to stay on after then fee would need to be discussed.

How much time do you need to set up?

What ever makes you comfortable really. Realistically it would take me about 30 mins.

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

With years of experience I tend to find its best to read the crowd. However we are happy to discuss to see what works best for you.

Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?

Correct. Any equipment needed is brought with myself. It’s my duty to ensure you’re night runs as smoothly as possible.

Can you learn song requests before the event?

I’ve spent a long time over many years building a set list. However my music taste is wide in range so if you don’t see a song you like then please ask if I know it. If there’s a special request I can certainly learn it for you for a small fee of £20 just to cover rehearsal time.
