Could not fault Matt and his performance, loads of positive comments from party goers. Good contact before hand, arrived promptly and both sets excellent. Would recommend.

A very positive experience. Matt was happy to chat via phone or email prior to the event to discuss play lists and even performing duets with me. All round he was accommodating and flexible on timings for the evening. This made the evening go with out any issue. In terms of performance, I don't think the online videos do him justice; he has a great voice. He was also very capable of interacting to the 'room' picking up the tempo as required, and taking requests from our guests.

We couldn’t have asked for a better pianist and singer for our wedding. He has a fantastic range of songs and was happy to take requests from our guests, which everyone loved. He learned our first dance and father-daughter dance beautifully and even sent us recordings beforehand so we could listen in advance. He also learned additional songs that weren’t on his set list, which meant so much to us. Matt has an amazing voice that was commented on by all our guests. We’d highly recommend him!

What do your clients love most about your performances?

With Pianoccasions, clients can enjoy a song requests service, allowing them and their guests to shape the setlist like a live music jukebox. This always goes down really well at Weddings and Events, giving a fun addition for guests to engage with.

Which venues have you performed at in the past?

I have performed at a number of great venues, particular favourites have included Dower House (Woodhall Spa), Woodborough Hall (Nottingham), The Angel and Royal (Grantham), Westminster College (Cambridge) and Piano Smithfield (London)

What is the most high profile gig you've performed?

I consider all gigs to be high profile, but some notable clients are below... Performed for a Tottenham Hotspur event, with Ossie Ardiles, Micky Hazard, Graham Roberts and Harry Kane's family among those gracing the dance floor! Have also performed at an event for the American Dance Instructor and TV personality, Abby Lee Miller.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

I always do my best to be as flexible as possible with timing changes and am happy to adapt to suit the needs of a client.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

I can provide this for an additional £50 if desired.

How much time do you need to set up?

1 hour

If I have a piano at my venue, are you happy to perform on that?

Yes, provided it is in good working order and in tune!

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

Absolutely, I am happy to discuss setlist prior to the event and then allow guests to pick their favourites to shape the entertainment on the day.

Are you able to bring your own piano or keyboard?

Yes I bring my own electric piano and microphones with amplification.

Can you learn song requests before the event?

I am always happy to learn additional songs, not already included in my setlist, to ensure the music for the event is as personal to you as possible!
