What do your clients love most about your performances?
Our clients seem to love our song choices stating there is 'something for everyone'. We choose music from all decades and keep it upbeat to create a surprisingly full sound for an acoustic duo. Our audience always end up dancing and singing along which is exactly the atmosphere we want to ensure our clients have the best event possible.
Which venues have you performed at in the past?
We have vast experience performing original music at major venues such as Newcastle's o2 Academy main stage and various UK festivals over the years. However, we keep it to cover songs for most venues we play such as weddings, pubs, clubs and events.
Which artists have you been most influenced by?
We are both massively inspired by great songwriters like Fleetwood Mac, Tori Amos, Jeff Buckley and many more!
What is the most high profile gig you've performed?
I perform at many festivals and venues across the UK. I performed at the South Tyneside Festival which had the largest audience count of just under 30,000 people attending. This was an amazing opportunity to showcase original music.
What if my timings change after I've booked you?
I always try my best to be flexible to help ensure your event runs as smoothly as possible. If timings change slightly in the run up to the event just let me know.
Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?
Absolutely. This is a really popular request and I actually offer this service for free in between my set times. If you'd like an iPod service via my PA (speakers) after the final set until the venue closes, I usually provide this for an additional £100.
How much time do you need to set up?
I usually set up about 1 hour before the performance time but this can vary and I'm flexible with timings to suit your event!
If I have a piano at my venue, are you happy to perform on that?
Yes, of course - as long as the piano is in working order and in tune, then I'm happy to play on it!
Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?
I usually perform a mix of specific songs to ensure all guests have the best time possible. However, I'm definitely happy to chat through and make sure we find what works for your event. Requests are possible especially if this is for a specific part of your event e.g. first dance as long as you let me know in advance I'll do my best!
Are you able to bring your own piano or keyboard?
Yes, absolutely! I bring my own instrument and fully equipped PA system to play through.
Can you learn song requests before the event?
If there is a special song you'd like me to learn I am happy to do this for you. There is a usual extra fee for this service to take into account rehearsal times etc.
