Kodiak Avenue have established themselves as one of the top acoustic duos in Wales, travelling extensively to perform at hotels, restaurants, and holiday resorts. They provide bespoke entertainment for weddings and events, offering packages to suit individual taste and budget. They are available for last-minute bookings. The music used at your wedding is one of the most important aspects of the day. Kodiak Avenue will help to create the perfect atmosphere with live acoustic music for your wedding, and can perform a set over your ceremony, drinks reception, or wedding breakfast. They can sing as you walk down the aisle, and can perform during your first dance! They also understand that you and your guests will want to be able to talk to each other, so will always aim to get the balance and volume just right. They have their own equipment (PA system, guitar amp and microphone), and their setup allows them to perform outside as well as indoors (weather permitting!) If you would like to chat with with them about music for your special occasion, or any requests you may have, please contact them. They will work with you to help you plan the right music for your wedding, and you can choose your favourite songs from their repertoire. Their set list features a wide range of modern and popular songs, from romantic ballads, to uptempo acoustic covers, and they are always adding new songs to their list. When planning the wedding we were both very keen to have entertainment through the day as it was an early start and we didn't want the guests being bored in between. You performed amazingly during the ceremony and for the drinks reception. All contact leading up to the day was friendly and encouraging and we could tell you were as excited as us to have you perform for us. I just wanted to say a big thank you for joining us and being a part of our special day!

What do your clients love most about your performances?

Clients love our unique acoustic arrangements of the songs we perform, and we have received many compliments on our close vocal harmonies.

Which venues have you performed at in the past?

Past venues and clients include Parkdean Resorts Corporate, Brecon Jazz Festival, The 100 Club (London), Swansea Great Hall, Festival on the Hill, Celtic Manor Resort, University of South Wales, Kilworth House (Leicester), The Vale Resort, Peterstone Court, The New Country House Hotel, Future Inns, Village Hotels, Ramada, The Brewhouse, Cardiff, Coldra Court

Which artists have you been most influenced by?

Ifan and Jayne enjoy listening to Brad Paisley, Keith Urban, and Kip Moore.

What is the most high profile gig you've performed?

We have performed at many high-profile gigs, such as venues and events attended by celebrities. However, our favourite performance was at the Celtic Manor at Christmas time. It was absolutely beautiful, and an amazing experience.

Do you have different line-up options?

We perform as a duo (female singer, male singer and acoustic guitar).

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

We always try our best to be flexible to help ensure your event runs as smoothly as possible. If timings change slightly in the run up to the event just let us know as soon as possible,

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Absolutely! We are happy to play background music in between sets.

How much time do you need to set up?

We usually set up about 1 to 1.5 hours before the performance time.

Can you roam around while you perform?

The lead singer uses a wireless microphone so can move around freely when performing.

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

Our set lists are crafted from countless performances and learning what works best to ensure guests dance and have an amazing time. However, we're definitely happy to chat through and make sure we find what works for your event.

Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?

Our PA and lighting system are included in your quote. We will require access to a plug socket close to where we will be performing.

Can you learn song requests before the event?

If a song isn't included in our song list there may still be a chance we already know it. If there is a special song you'd like us to learn we are happy to do this for you. There is a fee of £50 for this service to take into account rehearsal times etc.
