Alongside her studies Kezia has recently participated in masterclasses with Fiona Fulton in April 2018 and Anna Noakes in February 2017. She also performed with Leeds Youth Opera in their production of Les Miserables, Verdi’s A Masked Ball and Puccini’s La Boheme at the Carriageworks Theatre, Leeds. She is a member of the Leeds College of Music Students’ Union Camerata and the Yorkshire Symphony Orchestra. Kezia has a lot of previous performance experience both as a soloist and part of an ensemble. She has played with the Liverpool Philharmonic Youth Orchestra in 2014 as first flute and worked with Vasily Petrenko on Tchaikovsky’s Capriccio Italien. Whilst part of LPYO she had the opportunity to work side-by-side with the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra and their In Harmony project. She has worked with Blackpool Symphony Orchestra as well as the Lancashire Youth Symphony Orchestra under Helen Harrison and Lancashire Youth Concert Band under Howard Lorriman. Whilst studying at Kirkham Grammar School as music scholar, Kezia attained her Grade 8 flute with distinction and her achievement was recognised by ABRSM as she gained their High Achievers award in 2015. Kezia represented the Kirkham and Rural Fylde Rotary club in their national young musicians competition where she won both the local and district rounds, making it to the regional final. Following this, she was asked to perform at the Rotary Club conference in Southport. In 2015 she was runner up in the house music competition at KGS and went on to win it in 2016 with Louis Ganne’s Andante et scherzando. Kezia also studied piano under William Dowding. In her two years at KGS she gained academic prizes in music, three A-levels and participated in many coffee concerts as a soloist.

Kezia, thank you soooo much for playing at mine and Beej’s wedding. What an amazing way for us to start our day with you welcoming the guests. From the minute we had our first discussion about what we wanted for the wedding to the day itself I knew we were in safe hands. Thank you for accommodating our varying song requests and helping to make our day truely magical! ❤️
