Renowned for his expertise in House and Groove, he also boasts a versatile repertoire spanning R&B, classics, disco, 80s, 90s, and beyond. With over 1000 events to his credit, from festival stages to corporate gatherings, he is uniquely positioned to cater any occasion. Indeed, he has collaborated with major brands including Redbull, ASOS, River Island and KPMG. KatsNotDogs was booked for and played at the Brixton Jam Open Decks night on 12/10/22. He turned up in a timely fashion and was a decent fella to chat with. It was a quieter night for us so he played some laid back disco and feel good house accordingly. Was a pleasure having him.

A local legend and club resident for us @ Heyday for 5+ years. We were so sad to see him leave the country but hope he's killing it overseas in all his endeavours. Where do we start. Just a reliable, dependable DJ in all facets. We could throw him on warmup, headline, close and he'd smash it every time. A definite go-to whenever we had big names in town, there's few DJs other than him that you want warming the night up for you. Wishing you all the best mate.

What do your clients love most about your performances?

It's all too often that the energetic nature of my performances get commented on. I teach my students: "if you're not dancing and having the best time, why should they?" Also, taken many an empty dancefloor to packed all-out dancing. Been told: "You've made our night. We were watching from afar and you made it impossible to stay in our chairs."

Which venues have you performed at in the past?

I’ve played at Sydney’s biggest clubs including Chinese Laundry (“Sydney's most iconic underground nightclub”) and held down multiple residencies all over greater Sydney. Moreover, I’ve personally catered and performed at hundreds of events/functions – corporate through to clubs. Illustrious wedding venues to underground parties.

Which artists have you been most influenced by?

Sheesh, ok. From House: Purple Disco Machine. Patrick Topping. Dom Dolla. From RnB/Rap: Drake, Chris Brown, Jack Harlow, Black Eyed Peas, Timbaland.

What is the most high profile gig you've performed?

Touring Australia with Good Life Music Festival in 2015. Then close second... supporting Claptone at Day of Dance music festival.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

I understand that sometimes plans can change unexpectedly. If your event timings change after booking us, please let me know as soon as possible so that I can work with you to find a solution that works for both of us. I always strive to be flexible and accommodating in order to ensure that your event is a success.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Yes, I'm are able to provide an iPod/DJ service before and between my sets. I'm happy to offer this service at no additional cost to you as a way to enhance the overall musical experience. Please let me know if you have any further questions or if there is anything else I can do to assist with the planning of your event.

How much time do you need to set up?

I typically require around 1 hour to set up prior to the performance. Let me know if this time frame works for you and if there are any specific accommodations we should be aware of at the venue.

Can I pick the pieces you play from the set list?

Of course. Be as hands on/off with the process as you wish. Happy to chat and discuss exactly what music your event requires to make your night special. Able to work with pre-organised playlists and requests. Alternatively, I can completely take care of proceedings.

Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?

Yep. Base package include DJ decks. Optional add ons include: speakers, lights, laser, smoke, DJ booth. (enquire about projectors + screen).

Can you learn specific pieces before the event?

As a DJ, if theres a particular sequence of songs or timing that you require, orchestrating this won't be a problem.
