Jonah’s Wail are an experienced live band established for over fifteen years and guaranteed to get everyone up dancing. We’re reliable, professional, up for a good time, providing a service to fit in with your plans for the night. From Sevenoaks, Kent we play throughout the south of England and beyond. We enjoy playing for audiences of all ages at every type of occasion, whether it's a beautiful country wedding, a wild Christmas staff party or a significant birthday party. Our set lists are tailored to each audience: we play everything from 1960’s classics, 70’s, 80’s, 90‘s, 00’s & 10’s playing recent & current chart hits too. We use a professional quality PA System, lighting and have our own auto DJ for a one stop solution, making the entertainment side of your wedding, corporate event or party organisation simple.

Customer questions

Will the singer be the same as who I see in the videos?

We sometimes use a deposit singer but only people we know and have sung with us before.

Do you have different line-up options?

Yes, we can offer a smaller 6 piece band without the horn section which reduces the cost.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

We'll always try our best to be flexible and are used to wedding timings changing on the day because of speeches etc.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

We have an auto DJ that can provide background music before we start, dance music in between sets etc.

How much time do you need to set up?

We usually set up in about 2 hours but always like more time if possible. For weddings we often set up early before proceedings start to allow for the wedding breakfast to take place without us being there etc.

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

Yes & we can do requests depending on the song and time to practice before you're event. Our set lists have worked really well for many years so we suggest changing just a few that are special to you.....
