I have known and worked with Joe professionally in numerous musical circumstances. As a musician Joe is a consummate professional, prepared, reliable and a player of the highest standard. In addition to this he possesses many desirable qualities: affable, easy to work with, a good communicator and totally unflappable! Regardless of workload, Joe arrives prepared and can be relied upon to deliver a totally professional performance - enviable qualities in a modern musician, he manages to do this with an air of calm and competence. Over the past five years Joe has also worked on several productions with me and has taken on the role of Assistant MD for several of these. Joe has then progressed to being the MD for performances for entire runs, rehearsing and conducting small orchestras as part of this role. Joe is very proficient with music technology in sequencing and audio Digital Audio Workstations such as Apple’s Logic Pro. In addition Joe excels with sound systems and has been responsible for the entire audio system’ setting up and running of sound systems for professional acts touring nationally in theatres throughout the UK. This has involved considerable commitment and his professional attitude throughout this type of activity, at all hours of the day, attest to someone who I feel will succeed in today’s modern music world.
