Top class experience all round. We provided a small playlist to base our wedding set on. Martin did excellent and the guests were big fans of the DJ set. Martin read the room well and changed music accordingly. 100% recommended!

Martin was good, he played all the music we sent him beforehand, he played music guests requested and mixed the music to a decent standard. He had very good communication from start to finish. If you are looking for something special I would look elsewhere, he is exactly what you think of as a wedding DJ, nothing wrong at all, but nothing stand out.

Amazing Experience with IDJ4You - Exceeded All Expectations! We booked IDJ4You for our wedding, and from the very start, the experience was fantastic. We had some challenging demands, including a 10-hour DJ session with an eclectic playlist in a field. Despite these requests, our initial consultation with DJ Martin was nothing short of perfect. He was incredibly accommodating, making sure all our needs were met. Unfortunately, the day before our wedding, Martin had to deal with a family emergency and couldn’t attend. However, IDJ4You proved to be the professional outfit they are. Martin swiftly arranged for two of his colleagues, both named Andy, to come all the way from Falkirk, Scotland, to North Yorkshire. The Andys arrived just a couple of hours later and set up the most professional rig, which immediately put us at ease. On the day, the Andys were absolutely amazing. They were not only extremely professional and friendly but also went above and beyond to assist us throughout the day. Within an hour, we were already referring to them as our "helpful guests" because of how seamlessly they integrated into our event. They helped out with various tasks, just to be helpful, and by the end of the day, they had become firm friends with all of our guests. We honestly can’t imagine our wedding without them. A huge thank you to Martin for his professionalism and communication, to IDJ4You for their incredible network of professionals, and especially to the two Andys who made our day exceptional. They’ve become legends among our guests! 12/10 would recommend IDJ4You, and we couldn’t be more thankful!

Cannot thank Simon enough for the service he provided. Having experienced a lot of DJ’s over the years I can honestly say that he was by far the best! Turned up early at the venue to ensure he was ready to go. Both him and his wife were extremely friendly and polite. They had to adapt to a change in situation for the nights events at very short notice and handled it with extreme professionalism. Very reasonably priced for the service provided. Wouldn’t hesitate to use him again or recommend to our friends and family.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

That is fine. Please let us know as soon as possible so we can plan accordingly. If the overall time of your event/wedding needs a DJ does not change there would be no additional charge.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Our DJs are set up early and playing music before any of your guests arrive. Our DJs play through the whole event and have a vast database and will most likely have the music you are requesting. We can not accept any device to plug into our system as it needs to be PAT tested and on our certificate which is supplied to the venue.

How much time do you need to set up?

We allow 90 minutes for a full setup, light and sound testing. We aim to have music playing about 15 to 20 minutes before your guests arrive to help set the atmosphere.

Can I pick the pieces you play from the set list?

We actively ask for a playlist as it helps us know the types of music you and your guests like. This can be specific songs, artists, or genres like 80's, Motown, or House. A playlist can be as short or as long as you want it. Most create one of around 20 songs/artists and genres.

Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?

Yes, full lighting, sound system, microphones and DJ booth. Everything needed to have a great time.

Can you learn specific pieces before the event?

If you need specific entrance music or music for a first dance we will need this information forwarded to us before the day of your event/party/wedding.
