We want to say a massive thank you to High Tides for playing at our wedding. Honestly, from the moment they arrived to leaving the dance floor was full. The vibe was unreal! Our first dance song was so memorable, all our family joining us to our favourite song. People have been saying how amazing the band were! What do your clients love most about your performances?

Our song choices and vocal harmonies! We pride ourselves on choosing the right songs for each client, making sure that the set list is tailored to your preferences. We sing all harmonies live and work hard to ensure they are as full as can be!

Which artists have you been most influenced by?

As a band, we're all influenced by a host of different artists and genres. Our repertoire is made up of all of our favourite hits and songs from every decade and genre.

What is the most high profile gig you've performed?

Members of High Tides have played at SXSW in America, in touring theatre shows and musicals across the country, and many a wedding venue!

Will the singer be the same as who I see in the videos?

Yes. Only in exceptional circumstances (illness/emergencies) will we have a different vocalist. We have a number of pre-auditioned 'dep' singers who we have all worked with in the past. All of our 'deps' are highly talented musicians and work in other band in their own right.

Do you have different line-up options?

Our standard line-up is a 4-piece band consisting of Drums, Bass, Guitar and Vocals. We offer an optional Acoustic Duo set, featuring Acoustic Guitar and Vocals, alongside our standard package.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

We are happy to adjust to your schedule and be as flexible as possible regarding timings. We understand that things can run behind on your big day/night.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Yes. This comes as standard with any booking. We have a number of tailor-made playlists for any booking. We are also more than happy for you to make your own playlist of music and send to us.

How much time do you need to set up?

We need 60-90minutes in order to load in, set-up and soundcheck in enough time before the performance starts, or before the ceremony begins. As soon as the PA is set-up, we will play a playlist of music to set the right vibe!

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

Yes. We usually ask clients for the favourite 10 tracks from our repertoire of songs, which we guarantee we will include. Our set lists have been created from hundreds of performances over the years and understanding what songs work best to ensure the dance floor is filled!

Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?

Yes. We require a minimum space of approximately 2.5m x 5m, and at least 2 x 13 amp plug sockets in that area.

Can you learn song requests before the event?

Yes. We are happy to learn your first dance song free of charge for any wedding! If there is a special song you would like us to learn, we are more than happy to do this. There is an extra fee of £30 for this to take into account rehearsal times. Feel free to ask, as more often than not we will probably have played the song in a former band!
