Honestly, I was sooo glad we booked head rush brass band for our wedding. They were incredible, the guests didn’t stop talking about how good they were! They were so professional and great keeping in contact up to the day, even going along with all of my crazy surprise ideas I had. They were just brilliant. I highly recommend them

Absolutely sensational, worth every penny! I booked Head Rush Brass Band for my nans funeral as it was her wish to have the band play her in and out. WOW they most certainly delivered! ABSOLUTELY EVERYONE said how INCREDIBLE they were and they definitely became talk of the event - something people will remember forever. From the moment I enquired all the way up till after they performed the band were great, we had a few special requests, extra band members, new songs and specific dress attire - they accommodated it all! Thank you again to the whole team from myself and my whole family for really making what could be a sad day such a celebration of life, you guys went above and beyond and we highly recommend!!

What is the most high profile gig you've performed?

Playing our monthly residency at The Bond in Digbeth for over 800 people in 2023

Do you have different line-up options?

Yes we do, depending on budget or other situational restraints we can change up our line-up.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

We always try our best to be flexible to help ensure your event runs as smoothly as possible. If timings change slightly in the run up to the event just let us know.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Yes we do, depending on whether we are playing through a PA or acoustically, fees may vary for this service so please get in touch.

How much time do you need to set up?

Acoustically we request at least 45 minutes, if we are playing through a PA then we require at least 1.5 hours to set up and sound check

Can you roam around while you perform?

Yes, New Orleans style brass bands are ideal for performing roaming sets.

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

We are happy for clients to choose a few preferences from our song list and we will use these suggestions when designing our set list for the night.

Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?

Our standard quote is for an acoustic set up however if PA or lighting are required, we can provide these.

Can you learn song requests before the event?

As songs must be translated into a arrangement for a brass band, we charge a fee for specific requests that are not in our song list, £50 for 1 song or £40 per song if you request more than 1.
