Italian, London based musician. He is currently studying composition at the Royal College of Music, London, with Dai Fujikura and Kenneth Hesketh, supported by a Clifton Parker Award. As a composer, his music has been performed worldwide within national and international festivals including the Huddersfield International Contemporary Music Festival by ensembles such as Ensemble 10/10 (UK), Zodiac Trio (New York, US), Icarus Ensemble and New M.A.D.E. Ensemble (Italy) in venues including the Royal College of Music and the National Portrait Gallery (London). As a conductor, he created the Adrian Ensemble, a youth orchestra based in Reggio Emilia (Italy) with which he has conducted several concerts across Italy collaborating with soloists such as Fabrizio Meloni (first solo clarinet Orchestra del Teatro Alla Scala). I have also conducted professional orchestras including the Orchestra Sinfonica Toscanini (Parma, Italy) within national and international festivals such as the Festival Verdi (Parma, Italy). He has performed as a clarinetist across Europe and US in professional orchestras and ensembles such as Symphonica Toscanini with Lorin Maazel, Icarus Ensemble and New M.A.D.E. Ensemble. He collaborates with the Italian theatrical company TeatrO dell’Orsa (Reggio Emilia, Italy) as a composer, performer and actor with whom he won the prize Teatri del Sacro 2009 for the original musics composed for the show Il vangelo visto da un cieco. Former teacher at the Conservatory of Reggio Emilia since he was eighteen, he graduated with honor in clarinet, composition and conducting at the Conservatories of Reggio Emilia and Parma. He has received coaching and masterclasses from musicians including Neil Thomson, Fabrizio Meloni, Henry Pousseur, Louis De Pablo, Sylvano Bussotti and Azio Corghi. His current composition activity is focused on self perception and time suspension. His piece, One for Zodiac Trio, has been recently released in a new CD publication from the Zodiac Trio, Dreamtime
