Confident, energetic and a natural performer. I have always had a keen passion for performing and playing music. I obtained grade 8 in jazz saxophone, piano and vocal at school and ever since have been playing gigs at venues across the UK. I play in rock bands, jazz bands and even with professional function bands at weddings. Always professional, timely and respectful, I help elevate events and ensure people have a great time listening to great music. I can play a range of genres but mostly specialise in pop, rock, jazz, funk and blues. I have played in many venues throughout the UK but mainly in the Bath/Bristol Area. I have played a range of gigs from weddings to hunt balls to rooftop bars to local pubs. For my performances I bring an amp, stand for music, sax and vocal microphone (if required) and mic stand as well as my instruments. I am happy to play sax, sing and play the piano for your event, as well as seamlessly collaborating with a DJ set if you require. I am very adaptable and if you have any questions or concerns, feel free to contact me :). Looking forward to seeing you soon!

Extremely talented musican. We were honoured to have him join our event and couldn't thank him enough for his time. Freddie went above and beyond with his performance, from his solo to duetting with our singer Imogen. All attending including the staff enjoyed every minute. Would highly recommend !

Customer questions

What do your clients love most about your performances?

My clients have loved my enthusiastic, polite-manned, professional attitude towards playing events. Equally, they have loved my ability to quickly pick things up and my showmanship with a crowd. Finally, I am technically proficient, able to sight read and I have a deep musical understanding from my years of lessons and experience playing gigs.

Which venues have you performed at in the past?

I have performed at most club/bar venues within Bath and a few in Bristol and Birmingham. I have been lucky enough to play at weddings in Somerset and at corporate parties in hotels in Leicester Square as well as on festival stages! However, despite these massive venues, I still regularly play at local pubs, able to adapt my style regardless.

Which artists have you been most influenced by?

Loads! I love listening to loads of different styles of music such as pop, rock, jazz, hip-hop, funk etc. As such, I have many inspirations for music from Queen to ABBA to Arctic Monkeys to Vulfpeck to Kendrick Lamar! For my saxophone playing I have been inspired by Kansas Washington, Wayne Shorter, John Coltrane and Stan Getz, Sonny Rollins and Joey Dosik.

What is the most high profile gig you've performed?

The highest profile gig I performed at was at the Duke of Beaufort’s Hunt Ball 2024. It was a last minute call in but was a great time play with a function band!

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

No worries, unless there is a big change in the timings for the day, just let me know asap and I can adjust my schedule to ensure we are running smoothly for your event.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Of course, with no extra cost.

How much time do you need to set up?

About 30 mins before the performance. Need electricity for the amp but the rest should be fine!

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

Of course, each event you get at least two song requests! I will obviously have my preferred songs from my experience of what goes down well but feel free to contact me and we can devise a setlist for the event that you are happy with.

Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?

Yes, of course! Sometimes I will bring my speaker for a backing track however most of the time I just need my saxophone :).

Can you learn song requests before the event?

Yes, of course. Just let me know what songs you would like me to learn!
