Customer questions

What do your clients love most about your performances?

Our clients love Eccentric Pony's huge repertoire and versatility. There's plenty of crowd interaction and good times are guaranteed. We'll get the party started and keep it going all night!

Which venues have you performed at in the past?

We've played all over the UK and Europe.

What is the most high profile gig you've performed?

We treat all our gigs with the same level of enthusiasm and showmanship. Whether it's a European festival, a celebrity wedding, corporate event or Auntie Vera's retirement bash. We give 110% Every. Single. Time.

Will the singer be the same as who I see in the videos?

We strive to make sure the line-up you see is what you get on the night. We do have pre-audititioned 'dep' musicians available in case a band member falls ill or is unavailable. As a professional band our reputation means everything so you can be confident that all of our players are of a very high level.

Do you have different line-up options?

Our standard lineup is Guitar, Keyboard, Bass and Drums with male lead and background vocals. We also offer an acoustic or electric trio (Guitar/Vocals, Bass, Drums + Backing Vocals) and an acoustic duo (Guitar/Vocals, Percussion + Backing Vocals)

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

We always try our best to be flexible to help ensure your event runs as smoothly as possible. If timings change slightly in the run up to the event just let us know.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Absolutely. DJ Service is included free of charge.

How much time do you need to set up?

We usually arrive 2 hours before performance time. If turn-around is tight we can set up in 1 hour. As soon as our PA is set up we can provide a free playlist service to help set the atmosphere and get your guests ready for our live performance!

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

Yes indeed! It's up to you how involved you would like to be in the song selection - You can choose the entire set list from or repertoire, leave it all up to us, or anything in between.

Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?

There are no hidden costs. Your quote includes everything.

Can you learn song requests before the event?

Of course! In the majority of cases we can perform your first dance or special song even if it isn't on our repertoire.

We booked James for our Wedding back in march 2020, I gave him the task of creating the daddy daughter dance; I wanted a song that meant something to me and dad but wanted a combination of 2 songs.. James blew me away by mixing Leona Lewis and The Time Warp together - it's safe to say it shocked dad too! James also sang our first dance song and it was phenomenal, What great way to end a great day x
