Claree P is a professional DJ bringing energy, personality and a genuine love of music to every event she plays. With experience DJing at events across the UK and Ibiza, Claree P is equally at home playing a corporate event, private party or celebration as she is behind the decks at a house music event. Her musical roots were formed in the 80s, with a love of disco, soul and the music that went on to shape house and dance music. Today, her sets can take in everything from disco classics and 90s and 00s favourites to house, pop and current dancefloor anthems, always tailored to the event and the people in the room. Known for her energy behind the decks and ability to create a feel-good atmosphere, Claree P loves nothing more than seeing a room come alive and people getting up to dance. Professional, friendly and reliable, she can provide DJ equipment and a sound system where required and holds Public Liability Insurance. Whether it’s a company party, networking event, birthday celebration or special occasion, Claree P will work with you beforehand to understand the music you love and create the right soundtrack for your event.

DJ's Reviews

5 out of 5

Clare was so brilliant to work with for my daughter's 16th birthday. She easily switched between house music and my daughter's playlist and even did requests. Clare arrived early to set up, did a sound check and tidied away completely at the end and was utterly low maintenance. Her communication was excellent leading up to and after the event. Would definitely recommend and also book again.

I just wanted to send a quick message to say thank you for your time and efforts as our resident DJ last night. Your music really added a vibe to the overall networking experience which made for a premium feel in amongst all the other bits and pieces going on. Thanks so much”

DJ's Song list

This is just a taste of the music I can play. Every event is different, so I tailor my sets to you, your guests and the atmosphere in the room. From disco and 80s favourites through 90s and 00s classics to house, Ibiza anthems and current dance music, I'm always happy to work with your favourite tracks and requests too.

Customer questions

What do your clients love most about your performances?

Clients often tell me they love the energy I bring and how much I genuinely enjoy being behind the decks. I read the room, adapt the music and find the tracks that get people dancing. For me, it’s all about creating a feel-good atmosphere where everyone can relax, have fun and enjoy the moment.

Which venues have you performed at in the past?

Royal Albert Hall (performing at a young age), Freeze HiFi Liverpool, House Mouse Festival Pitstone, Itaca Ibiza, Wi-Ki-Woo Ibiza, The Rockwood Aylesbury, The Church, Canal Street, Manchester, the-end Leeds, West Park Harrogate, Maya Aylesbury, The Boot, Soulbury, Monty's Marlow, many private parties and corporate events across the UK.

Which artists have you been most influenced by?

My influences start with disco and soul from 70s & 80s, artists like Chaka Khan, Double Exposure and the Salsoul sound, through to house pioneers Frankie Knuckles and Masters At Work. DJs and producers including Louie Vega, DJ Spen, Dimitri From Paris and Dave Lee have also hugely influenced the feel-good, soulful sound I love to play.

What is the most high profile gig you've performed?

Royal Albert Hall concert, Freeze Hifi, Manchester Village Pride, House Mouse festival

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

I know event timings can change! If your plans shift after booking, just let me know as soon as you can and I’ll always do my best to accommodate you. Small changes are usually absolutely fine. If the change significantly affects the agreed DJ times or requires additional hours, we can discuss any additional cost beforehand.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Yes, absolutely. I can provide background music before I start DJing and during any breaks, so there’s always music playing and no awkward silences! If you have particular artists, songs or a style of music you’d like during these times, just let me know beforehand.

How much time do you need to set up?

1 hour minimum set up time before the start time of any event.

Can I pick the pieces you play from the set list?

Absolutely! I want the music to feel right for you and your event, so you’re very welcome to send me your favourite tracks, artists or even a playlist beforehand. I’ll use these to help shape the set, while also reading the room on the night and choosing music that keeps the atmosphere going and people dancing.

Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?

Yes. I can provide my DJ equipment, PA sound system and lighting, depending on what your event requires. If you’re also having a singer or live vocalist, I can play their backing tracks through my PA system and provide microphones through the PA too. Just let me know what you’re planning beforehand so I can make sure we have everything covered.

Can you learn specific pieces before the event?

Absolutely. If there are particular songs that are important to you, let me know in advance and I’ll do my best to include them in your set. I’m always happy to source specific tracks and build your favourites into the music for your event.
