A wealth of professional experience Both Dawn and Joe are highly trained musicians with years of experience performing across the UK and internationally. Dawn holds a First Class BA (Hons) degree in Music Performance & Production and has performed professionally since 2016. Her experience includes appearances at Birmingham Symphony Hall, festivals, theatres and international cruise ship venues. With a powerful, soulful voice and a passion for connecting with audiences, she brings personality, warmth and energy to every performance. Joe holds a BSc in Music Production and is an accomplished pianist, guitarist and vocalist. His extensive performance experience includes multiple international cruise contracts, where he has entertained audiences with everything from laid-back piano sets to high-energy live shows. Together, they have performed aboard international cruise ships, developing an impressive repertoire and the ability to entertain audiences of all ages and musical tastes. Dawn & Joe were absolutely brilliant at my mum’s birthday celebrations! They played a great mix of songs that everyone knew and loved, and it wasn’t long before we were all singing along. They even managed to get my mum up singing and dancing, although I suspect the wine may have had something to do with that! 😂 They’ve both got fantastic voices and really know how to get everyone involved without being too over the top. It was such a lovely afternoon, full of laughter, music and some questionable dancing! They really made the occasion special. Would definitely recommend them for a party or family celebration!

What do your clients love most about your performances?

Our chemistry, rich vocal harmonies and versatility! With two lead vocalists, live piano, guitar and percussion, we create a much bigger sound than you'd expect from a duo. We love reading the room, connecting with audiences and turning everything from intimate moments to lively celebrations into something memorable!

Which venues have you performed at in the past?

Between us, we've performed internationally aboard TUI Marella cruise ships, including Explorer, Discovery and Voyager, alongside appearances at Birmingham Symphony Hall, UK festivals, theatres, hotels, pubs and private events. Our experience ranges from intimate acoustic performances to large-scale live entertainment.

Which artists have you been most influenced by?

Our musical influences span generations, from the soulful vocals of Amy Winehouse, Adele and Alicia Keys to the timeless songwriting of Elton John, Billy Joel and Fleetwood Mac. We also love Motown, classic rock and contemporary pop, bringing a blend of styles, musicality and personality to every performance!

What is the most high profile gig you've performed?

Highlights of our careers include performing internationally as professional entertainers aboard Marella cruise ships, delivering live music to audiences from around the world. Dawn has also performed at Birmingham Symphony Hall, while between us we've gained extensive experience across theatres, festivals and large-scale productions.

Do you have different line-up options?

We're a versatile live music duo featuring two lead vocalists, piano, guitar and percussion! We can adapt our instrumentation and performance style to suit your event, from intimate acoustic sets and beautiful harmonies to upbeat, full-sounding party entertainment.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

We know events don't always run exactly to schedule! We're happy to be flexible wherever possible. Just let us know about any changes as early as you can and we'll do our best to accommodate them. Significant changes to performance times or duration may require an adjustment to your quote.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

We can arrange background playlists through our PA system before and between performances, helping keep the atmosphere going even when we're taking a break! If you'd like music after our final set, please ask us about the options available. This is a playlist service rather than a professional DJ performance.

How much time do you need to set up?

We usually recommend allowing approximately 60–90 minutes before our performance for unloading, setting up and soundchecking. This can vary depending on the venue, access and equipment required. We'll always coordinate with you beforehand to ensure everything is ready without disrupting your event!

Can you roam around while you perform?

Our performances are generally based in one area due to our live piano, guitar and percussion setup. However, we love interacting with audiences, encouraging singalongs and getting everyone involved! We can discuss the layout of your venue and tailor our performance to create the best possible atmosphere.

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

Absolutely! Our repertoire covers decades of music, including Soul, Motown, Pop, Rock, Jazz and party favourites. You're welcome to choose your favourites or let us create a setlist tailored to your guests. We use our performance experience to keep the music flowing and the atmosphere just right!

Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?

Our standard quotes include our professional PA system, microphones and instruments, so you won't need to arrange sound equipment separately for a typical booking. For larger venues, outdoor events or additional lighting requirements, we'll discuss any extra arrangements with you in advance.

Can you learn song requests before the event?

We'd love to help make your event extra special! If there's a meaningful song you'd like us to perform, whether it's a first dance, aisle entrance or personal favourite, just let us know. We're happy to discuss learning new material with sufficient notice. Additional rehearsal fees may apply depending on the request.
