Fiddler and Composer Corwin Zekley and Pianist and Songwriter Grace Fellows play can play traditional Celtic music or hit songs. They have experience playing for Weddings, Ceilidhs, Functions, and other dances and Events. Corwin & Grace have a versatile sound that can be lively, dramatic, romantic, or soft in the background. Corwin has been a touring fiddler for over 5 years, having been educated at the Berklee College of Music in Boston and Idyllwild Arts High School, beginning to learn fiddle at the age of 4 through Lark Camp and other traditional music communities. Corwin has toured extensively in the US, Europe, and the UK appearing on many albums in a variety of genres. Grace has been a musician, songwriter, and music educator for more than 15 years, having studied at California Institute of the Arts (BFA) and BIMM, London (MA) her background on fiddle, education in classical and pop music, and experience writing songs and learning covers on piano come together to inform her current performance.

Wedding (arrivals, ceremony, happy hour)2 musicians

We can do any or all of the following, and play for up to 3 hours for the price listed: - Background music as guests arrive - Music for the ceremony - Music for the happy hour or similar time frame after the ceremony We will learn and create instrumental renditions of up to 4 songs of your choosing for the ceremony. For our base price we're happy to play up to 3 hours in any combination during that time frame (for example, 45 minutes as guests arrive, 15 minutes during the ceremony, 2 hours after the ceremony.) For staying longer into the evening and playing during dinner or for a Ceilidh after, our rates may be higher. If you want a Celtic or Pop song party band for reception or dancing we can also do a trio or quartet with added bass/drums.

What do your clients love most about your performances?

We are experts at adjusting for different atmospheres and our clients sing praises of the energy and passion we bring to their events.

Which venues have you performed at in the past?

We have played at such famed venues as the Troubadour in LA and The Old Blue Last in London. We have played at Festivals, weddings, parties, pubs, and a variety of other events.

Which artists have you been most influenced by?

In our traditional music ensemble, we've been influenced by the Celtic music communities of the American West Coast and London. With our pop music, we take inspiration from classic icons such as The Beatles and Joni Mitchell, and modern performers such as Taylor Swift and Regina Spektor.

What is the most high profile gig you've performed?

We supported cult-star Jon Gomm in Leeds, we've performed at Sh'BANG Festival in Bellingham, Washington, and played for thousands at the Albany, Oregon Scottish Festival and Highland Games.

Do you have different line-up options?

We can play as our standard traditional music duo with Corwin on Violin and Grace on Piano. Our standard pop duo is Grace on Vocals/Piano and Corwin on Fiddle/Vocals + percussion. We can also add a bassist and/or drummer for larger parties or dances for either genre.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

Timing changes often won't be too problematic unless they're at the last minute, or totally change the day of the event. Especially for events like weddings, we don't expect to know precisely what minute we're supposed to start playing etc. till somewhat close to the event.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

If a PA is provided, we can provide this service at no cost, though we don't have our own sound system at this time.

How much time do you need to set up?

30 minutes to an hour if everything is ready for us when we arrive (2 chairs and electricity).

Can you roam around while you perform?

Corwin can roam around while performing on violin, the piano is stationary.

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

If you have some favorite tunes or songs from our list feel free to request them.

Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?

We don't have a sound or lighting system.

Can you learn song requests before the event?

For weddings we will learn up to 4 songs included in our pricing.
