Having Enchorus perform at our wedding ceremony set the tone for the rest of the day. All of the guests were so complimentary of the choir and couldn’t believe the amazing sound they produced in what was quite a small church. It was such a personal way to have some of our favourite songs in our service; there’s nothing like live vocals! It is always a pleasure to work with Enchorus to present Sing for Samaritans. The choir have a really strong repertoire of Gospel Songs creating beautiful harmonies and soulful performances. The Founder and Director of Enchorus, Kris Boobyer is a rare and inspirational individual who puts the cause of the charity at the heart of every performance. Enchorus have previously presented their Sing for Samaritans playlist whereby songs have been carefully selected so the lyrics relate to the cause of the charity. Kris is enthusiastic and his energy is echoed by his choir of hugely talented performers. Enchorus have performed across various platforms and always rise to the challenge competing with busy Network Rail Stations and outside Charing Cross Station to deliver memorable performances which you could hear well above the background noise! I have also had the pleasure of working with Kris to present a special Enchorus performance at London’s only non-stop Live Music venue, The Piano Works of Farringdon. The show-stopping performance delivered by Enchorus supported by the live musicians was truly amazing. I have never seen so many camera phones up in the air at The Piano Works or seen people ceasing their conversations to listen to the performance. It was a definite highlight of our working relationship together. As well as being hugely talented all of the members of Enchorus are lovely individuals with a positive outlook which is truly valued by the team at Central London Samaritans. Many volunteers will specifically ask for the dates when Enchorus are next performing in stations to make sure they can attend. Through their multiple efforts and participation in larger scale events as well as individual performances Enchorus have helped raise more than £12,000 as part of the Sing for Samaritans project. It is always a joy to work with Kris and his choir and I cannot recommend Enchorus highly enough.
