Born in London, Cecilia Bailey completed undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in Biochemistry and Law respectively before pursuing training and a career as a singer. Currently on the Associated Studios Opera Course, she has also participated in public masterclasses and study opportunities in Europe and the UK, including short courses at the National Opera Studio and at the VIIIth International Masterclass Course in Latvia, working with Joy Mammen and Maris Skuja.

She is currently preparing the title role in Strauss’ Ariadne auf Naxos, for Hojotoho Opera Studio in Holland, under the direction and guidance of celebrated Dutch dramatic soprano Wiebke Göetjes.
