Based in Maidstone in Kent, Bad Pandas are a high-energy 5-piece playing uplifting pop-rock covers. Originally formed in 2013, the band honed their craft packing out pubs and festivals across Kent and the southeast, quickly garnering a reputation for their jubilant party atmosphere and professional attitude that they bring to every event. The line-up features lead singer Carly who along with powerhouse vocals, provides a charismatic and warm rapport that makes audiences feel included and involved from the outset of every gig. Guitarist Josh is the shredding king, shifting seamlessly from melodic pop riffs to face-melting guitar solos while Matt's mastery on the keys allows the band to switch from synth-pop singalongs to piano rock ballads. In the rhythm section, founding members Chris and Jon are the heartbeat of the Bad Pandas, with bassist Jon giving the band its groove and drummer Chris keeping everyone in check and energy levels at a high. Together these highly proficient musicians offer a dynamic presence and brilliantly tight sound that delivers a lively celebratory atmosphere. All prices include:• 6pm or later arrival and up to midnight finish – Approx 90 minutes are required for set up and sound check (depending on access to the performance area) • Background music during setup, interval, and pack down from unattended playback device – provided by band or client. • Full PA for circa 200 people (dependent on room/location size) • Fully controlled lighting to illuminate band. • Public liability insurance. • Wireless microphone for speeches/announcements for guests - pre/post live performance or during interval. • Band to deal with any compere/announcements required.

Customer questions

Will the singer be the same as who I see in the videos?

Our line up is very consistent. We are all professional musicians who's main going concern is this band. We do very occasionally have to call on trusted 'deps' should a band member fall ill or unavailable.

Do you have different line-up options?

We always travel as a 5 piece consisting of vocals, drums, bass, guitar and keyboards. If we are offering an additional acoustic set then this will be either a duo or trio. This is only offered as an additional service to the full band, not as an alternative.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

We aim to accommodate any changes or modifications in timings and running order. We appreciate that at the time of booking your entertainment, the precise details of your event and requirements the venue may have are subject to change. If things need to be altered just let us know and we will do whatever we can to facilitate them.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

The simple answer to this is yes. We have listed a fully manned DJ service as one of the additional services we offer, but within our standard fee we also offer music from an unattended playback device provided by the band or client during setup, interval and pack down.

How much time do you need to set up?

Setup takes around 1.5 hours, but we also need to allow for time to gain access to the venue and unload equipment. With that in mind our standard package covers arriving 2 hours before the requested show time. The PA is the 1st thing to be setup so we can provide our free playlist service circa 30mins from getting all equipment into the venue.

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

We are happy to play any of the songs on our set list and more than happy to work with you to curate a set list that will ensure you and the people at your event have a fantastic time.

Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?

A PA and lighting is included in the quote. However as part of our extras package we do offer a LED pixel wall, further disco and party lighting and larger PA systems that can cover larger events up to circa 1500 people.

Can you learn song requests before the event?

Just because a song is not in our set list does not mean we can't or don't play it. The set list is constantly evolving, often faster than we can update it online. If wee don't know a song we are however more than happy to learn it, as long as it is technically and musically possible, so please just ask.
