Amy had 4 years of intense, performing arts school training to perfect her stage craft and gain strong technique in singing as well as different dance genres. She has worked professionally as a singer all over the world – from Germany to India, Madeira to Australia! In the UK, Amy has sang at The Savoy for the Prince’s Trust Royal Gala Dinner, at Kensington Roof Gardens and on the West End stage of The Criterion. One of her proudest moments was dancing in the London 2012 Olympic Opening Ceremonies. Amy’s experience performing as a backing vocalist for original artists ‘Rothwell’ and ‘Lexie’ encouraged her to pursue her own songwriting. In 2017, Amy wrote and independently funded the studio recording and music video of her original song ‘Preacher Man’. She is now working on her first EP as one half of ‘JAYS’ who made their live band debut in February 2020. Amy’s time on ships has gained her a large repertoire from the 1920s all the way up to the current chart hits so she can provide the perfect set list for you and your event.

What do your clients love most about your performances?

They love the variety of genres I can perform because it means there is something for everyone to enjoy.

Which venues have you performed at in the past?

The Savoy Hotel, Kensington Roof Gardens, The Tanglin Club (Singapore), London Olympic Stadium (2012 Opening Ceremonies), Criterion Theatre (London), Carriageworks Theatre (Leeds), Grand Hotel (Brighton), Renaissance Hotel (London), Caerphilly Castle (Wales).

Which artists have you been most influenced by?

I love soul and Motown artists like Stevie Wonder and Aretha Franklin along with other incredible vocalists like Whitney Houston and Lady Gaga. I also love dancing so anyone whose songs get me dancing I love performing, Justin Timberlake is a good example!

What is the most high profile gig you've performed?

Princes Trust Royal Gala Dinner at The Savoy Hotel, London.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

I always try to be as flexible as possible to help ensure your event runs as smoothly, so if timings change slightly in the run up to the event just let me know.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Yes I can and the better news is I offer this service for free. If you'd like a DJ service via our PA after the final set, I can provide this for an additional £100.

How much time do you need to set up?

Depending on the line up you choose, our set up time will differ slightly. To make sure any line up has enough time, I like to allow 1 to 1.5 hours before performance time. We would also do a sound check during the set up time.

Can I pick the pieces you play from the set list?

I have crafted my set lists to create a great atmosphere for your guests but I am happy to discuss any requests you might like to include.

Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?

Yes.

Can you learn specific pieces before the event?

If a song isn't included in my song list there may still be a chance I already know it! If there is a special song you'd like me to learn I am happy to do this for you. There is a small fee of £15 for this service to take into account rehearsal times etc.
