Customer questions

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

I always try our best to be flexible to help ensure your event runs as smoothly as possible. If timings change slightly in the run up to the event just let me know.

If I have a piano at my venue, are you happy to perform on that?

Yes, of course - as long as the piano is in working order and in tune, then I'm happy to play on it!

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

Our set lists are crafted from countless performances and learning what works best to ensure guests have an amazing time. However, we're definitely happy to chat through and make sure we find what works for your event.

Are you able to bring your own piano or keyboard?

Yes! I can bring my stage piano and amplifier to any event if there is not a piano!

Can you learn song requests before the event?

Yes! I'm more than happy to do a Skype consultation to talk through what you'd like for your event, and as part of that can learn and include some songs of your choice!

It was a pleasure to have Alex and his band play at our wedding. We’ve been following the group for a number of years and they brought all their energy to our weekend. On the Friday night they played jazz, while on Saturday they upped the tempo to funk, which quickly filled the dancefloor. A talented group! They went out of their way to fit into our arrangements and did everything with a smile. A delight!

Alex is a hugely talented musician. I have seen him perform many times over the years, solo and in groups, and couldn’t think of anyone better to play some live solo piano during our wedding reception. We were so happy that he was available! He truely played his socks off, playing jazz standards from memory and some of his own musics, and was a big favourite with all the guests. We had to deal with COVID rules threatening to change, but Alex kept in communication throughout and understood our situation. In summary he is a talented professional and would thoroughly recommend to anyone wanting a touch of class to their event.
