Zoë's love of choral and classical music began when she became one of the first girl choristers in the Durham Cathedral Choir in 2009. She then had the honour of being appointed Head Chorister in 2010 and has since continued singing lessons with teacher Miranda Wright. Zoë was a member of the National Youth Choir from 2011 - 2015 and has sung as both a choir member and soloist at many venues, including the Sage Gateshead, the Royal Albert Hall, the Southbank Centre, Birmingham Town Hall and many prestigious cathedrals. In 2012 Zoë was also a member of The Young Musicians Programme at The Sage, Gateshead, where she attended weekly theory, musicianship, piano, flute, ensemble and alexander technique lessons. Zoë has been a Samling Academy member since 2016, taking part in intensive training weekends with world-class professionals from the fields of opera, teaching, drama and movement. In 2017 Samling celebrated it's 21st birthday in which Zoë had the honour of singing as part of the chorus of their 'Coming of age' concert, held at the Sage, Gateshead and involved Sir Thomas Allen and The Royal Northern Sinfonia. Zoë performs regularly with The Miranda Wright Singers, both locally and at music festivals such as Saltburn music festival, and Ryedale festival. She has also taken part in many masterclasses with professionals such as Ann Lampard MBE, Claire Booth and Richard Morris. Zoë teaches at The Chorister School Durham and The Northern Music Centre in Heaton.
Zoë has recently been offered places and scholarships to the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, Guildhall School of Music and Drama, the Royal College of Music and the Royal Academy of Music to study as an undergrad in 2019.
