Music has always been a big part of my life. Growing up in a musical family, I was surrounded by different instruments. My parents played multiple instruments, which inspired me to explore my own musical talent. This early exposure sparked my love for music and made me want to share my voice with others. I started my journey as a musician at a young age, beginning with classical guitar lessons when I was 8 years old. The guitar quickly became my first love, helping me express my feelings and connect with the emotions in my music. However, singing soon took the spotlight. At 15, I began taking vocal lessons with a great coach who was trained by Gary Catona, a well-known vocal coach who has worked with famous artists. This experience changed my life; my coach taught me important techniques that helped me control my voice and feel more confident as a performer. I have worked hard to improve my skills, reaching important milestones along the way. I passed several guitar exams, including ABRSM Grade 5, 8, and ATCL, which showed me how much I had learned. Participating in concerts and competitions has been both challenging and rewarding, allowing me to share my passion for music with an audience. These performances have taught me how to connect with listeners and express my emotions through song. Now, I am studying pop vocals at BIMM Institute, where I continue to grow as a musician. This program gives me the chance to perform regularly and receive helpful feedback from my teachers. This experience has been invaluable, helping me improve my singing and performance in a professional way. Learning about how the voice works has not only made me a better singer but also increased my confidence, allowing me to sing for longer without straining my voice. What makes my act special is the combination of my guitar playing and singing. I love blending both to create a fuller sound. To do this, I have taken lessons that focus on singing and playing guitar together. This training has helped me deliver performances that feel both polished and heartfelt. I sing in three languages: English, Cantonese, and Mandarin. This allows me to reach a wide range of people and connect with different audiences. Singing in different languages adds depth to my performances and helps me connect with more listeners. I believe that music is a universal language, and I want to create moments of joy and connection through my songs. In summary, my journey as a musician has been shaped by my love for music and a desire to keep growing. I perform because I want to share my passion with others and create connections. With a solid foundation in both singing and guitar, I aim to deliver performances that are professional yet deeply personal.
