About Zach

23 year old Freelance drummer, with a masters from the Royal Northern College of Music (RNCM) and a strong passion for music.
Drummer
Manchester

I started playing drums at the age of 14 and as soon as I sat down at the kit I knew it was something I was going to do for the rest of my life. From playing drums I became obsessed with music which lead me to study a BA in music at Newcastle university, where I graduated with a 1st class honours degree in 2018. From there I have gone to study a masters at The Royal Northern College of Music (RNCM) to sharpen my skills. Whilst studying I have been a part of several bands ranging from swing function bands to a alternative rock originals band. I have also taken part in a number of musicals, including ‘Timpson the musical’ an original musical and the 2020 Hope Mill Theatre production of Rent. Due to the range of gear I have collected and the education I have undertaken I have the tools to play a variety of styles in a variety of settings. But the most important thing to me in performance is a love for the music you are playing, which is something I think I always have in abundance.
