Yiolanda Loizou

Yiolanda Loizou is a London-based guitarist, vocalist, and multi-instrumentalist from Limassol, Cyprus. With a strong background in classical guitar and a flair for blending genres, she brings a rare versatility to live performances, from elegant wedding ceremonies and intimate receptions to corporate functions, private parties, and cultural events. Trained at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance, Yiolanda holds an undergraduate degree and is finishing a postgraduate degree in Classical Guitar Performance. Her academic journey has been supported by awards from the Finzi Trust, Wolfson Foundation Trust, and Henry Wood Accommodation Trust, as well as a full scholarship for excellence in music theory and analysis. Her artistry, however, goes far beyond the classical world. From sweet classical melodies and acoustic pop favourites to folk songs and jazzy covers, her sets are crafted to suit each occasion and are always delivered with warmth, precision, and style. Over the past decade, Yiolanda has performed at notable venues and events across the UK and Europe, including the Royal Greenwich Guitar Festival, National Maritime Museum, Queen’s House Museum, Pattihio Theatre, and live radio broadcasts on Kanali 6. She is widely praised for her ability to adapt to any setting to create the perfect mood, offering both ambient background music and captivating centre-stage performances. In addition to her solo work, Yiolanda is an active collaborator. She performs with ensembles including Nysiādes, an electronic-acoustic fusion band with residencies at some of the most renowned London restaurants, who has also topped Beatport charts, and the Syrinx Duo, featuring flute and guitar. Her studio credits include vocal work on George Synnos’ album Ola Allazoun, and Apocalypse EP by Nysiādes.
