What do your clients love most about your performances?
My clients often tell me they love how I engage with them during my performances. I strive to create a welcoming atmosphere where everyone feels included. Whether it’s through eye contact, inviting them to sing along, or sharing stories behind the songs, I want them to feel like they’re part of the experience.
Which venues have you performed at in the past?
Some of the venues I have performed at include - The O2, Fountain Studios, Hedsor House, Villiers Barn, Crondon Park, Baddow Park House, Braxted Park, Stoke-by-Nayland Resort, Eva Beach (Dubai).
Which artists have you been most influenced by?
I cannot hide the fact I absolutely love Beyonce and she is a massive idol of mine. However, when it comes to my repertoire and the artists that I feel have the greatest songs to get people dancing, I would choose - Sister Sledge, Joycelyn Brown, Cece Peniston, Whitney Houston, Luther Vandross, Steview Wonder and Tina Turner.
What is the most high profile gig you've performed?
I performed as a backing dancer for Little Mix at The Brit Awards and on X Factor, which was an amazing experience! I have also been lucky enough to showcase my singing in Times Square, New York.
What if my timings change after I've booked you?
I will always try my best to be flexible and accommodating as possible to help ensure your event runs as smoothly as possible. If timings change slightly in the run up to the event just let me know at your earliest convenience and I will be in touch to discuss further.
Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?
Of course, I have a range of playlists of background music that I can play once I am set up and during my breaks.
How much time do you need to set up?
It only takes me about 15 minutes to set up but I will always ensure I am at the venue around 30 minutes to 1 hour before in order to have enough time before performing.
Can I pick the pieces you play from the set list?
My set lists are crafted from countless performances and learning what works best to ensure guests dance and have an amazing time. However, I’m always happy to chat through and make sure I find what works for your event, especially if you have any personal favourites.
Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?
Yes, Yazmin just needs access to mains electric but has her own PA system with speaker and microphone so nothing is required from the venue/client.
Can you learn specific pieces before the event?
If there is a special song you'd like me to learn, I am happy to do this for you. There is a fee of £25 per song for this service, to take into account rehearsal times etc. However, I do include special requests within my wedding packages so should you wish to discuss further, please let me know.
