"It feels like I have always had a passion for heavy music, back in the 90's it was metal music, 2000 was when I took playing guitar seriously and attempted to form many bands. All very much unsuccessful for one reason or another. 2008 rolls round and I discover Dubstep. As soon as I found out how people were making it, I got myself everything I needed to get started. I thought 'I wont need to rely on others to get music done this way.'
My electronic music venture began, spending YEARS trying to figure it out and make sense of it all, after around 10 years I felt like I had hit a brick wall, didn't know what to do to improve, so I applied for a University course (which turned out to not be what I was expecting - music/audio to film/video and live sound engineering) held my own through that for 3 years, failed due to 'unfinished work', re-joined this year to try and complete it, awarding me a BA Hons (Batchelors) degree, currently awaiting results. Around the same time as starting the course, I took up learning DJing, in between the course, as it would often melt my brain too much for me to be able to focus on my own productions. Since DJing, I have taken part in a couple of charity live streams and live events hopes of sharing my love of, and re-introducing people to Dubstep and just straight heavy Bass Music. All the while becoming largely connected with some of my biggest inspirations and the Dubstep scene as a whole.
Ever since I started taking music seriously back in 2000 when I was 11 years old, I wanted to be on that stage, rocking arenas/festivals and living my best life. The passion hasn't changed but the concept has, I'm ready to go further." - Xpired
