Xiangru Li

Xiangru Li is postgraduate student from Royal Academy of Music. She has been learning violin for 19 years, harp for 3 years, piano for 10 years. She was admitted to the Music School Attached to the Central Conservatory of Music and she got the full scholarship in 2004.In November 2011 she was honored to be invited by the World Youth Orchestra to North American had 4 concerts .In March 2013, she was invited by the China Youth Symphony Orchestra to give three music performances and communication in Germany and Austria. She won the Bronze award (Third Prize) in Asia International Competition in August 2013 . She had graduated from the Central Conservatory of Music in China in July 2014.She learned to play the violin from Professor Wei Zhao for the past ten years in China. She had studied with Victor Denchenko (Violin Professor from Curtis Institute of Music/Peobody ) in 2014-2015. During this year ,she always attended many kind of performances and concerts in Duke’s Hall and DJHR ,by the way ,she was joined the Hornton Chamber Orchestra had lots of concerts in St. James Paddington Church and RAM .Did a string quartet performance at the O2 in London. They played Mendelssohn String Quartet F minor on the stage .The concert was to celebrate the Chinese New Year where the audience were engaged throughout the performance, and towards the end the audience cheered and applauded enthusiastically . In the whole ,this has been an unforgettable experience. She would like to be a violin teacher/coach in some university of music/arts in China. She also would like play in some philharmonic orchestras in China when she graduated from Royal Academy of Music next year. Xiangru Li likes music extremely .She was very interested in Bach ,Debussy, Prokofiev ,Paganini’s composition .The reason why her appreciate them because their work can always bring lots of inspiration to her ,such as pure ,fantastic mysterious ,marvelous feeling and so on. So she is huge fans in classical music.
