The Wooburn Consort is a subgroup of the Wooburn Singers, a Beaconsfield-based chamber choir founded by Richard Hickox in 1967. We perform music from the Renaissance to the present day (from Thomas Tallis to Disney!) and are equally at home with sacred and secular music, either a cappella or with organ or piano accompaniment. If you already have specific music in mind for your event we are happy to accommodate your requests. Alternatively, if you would prefer more guidance in selecting music we would be pleased to work with you and suggest appropriate pieces based on your requirements and our experience. Although we are based in Beaconsfield we frequently perform further afield, and are accustomed to performing in a wide variety of venues. We can provide from 4 to 30 singers, and will tailor the size of the ensemble to suit the venue, the music and your budget.

Do you have different line-up options?

Yes, we can provide from 4 to 30 singers, and will tailor the size of the ensemble to suit the venue, the music and your budget.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

As long as you let us know, this shouldn't be a problem.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

No.

Can you roam around while you perform?

Not usually, although if this is something you'd like we can discuss it.

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

Yes - if you know exactly what music you want we're happy to accommodate, or if you would prefer more guidance we can work with you and suggest appropriate pieces.
