Hi there- we are Wonder of Uke, and we’re ready to bring those fun summer vibes to help you get up your party started in style! We’re sure to get your guests foot-tapping, hand-clapping and singing-along as we roam around performing a set packed full of classic tunes, modern songs and musical mashups. Our repertoire covers a huge range, with must-have 50s & 60s classics from the likes of Dean Martin and The Beatles, through to 70s Disco divas such as Sister Sledge and Abba, via the powerhouse of Music that was the 1980s, onto the best of 90s Brit Pop such as Oasis and Spice Girls, right up to modern day choice picks from the likes of Ed Sheeran and Dua Lipa, with a sprinkling of wrap and reggae thrown in along the way! There’s sure to be something for everyone at your party, wedding or event. And with lineup options from a duo up to a five piece, there’s something to suit every budget, too. With a range of costume colours and themes, we will work with you to fit in with a style of your event, and we’re happy to tailor our set to see your musical tastes. We are an all-female band featuring talented musicians, singing and playing a variety of instruments including the ukulele, banjolele, guitar, trumpet, saxophone, drums and even a kazoo or two! Our impressive professional credits include vocals, live band and album recordings with Bryan Ferry, Michael Buble, Eric Clapton, Roger Taylor, Lulu, Will Young, Patti Boulay, Gina G and Procol Harum. We have performed at various high profile venues including the Royal Albert Hall, Palace Theatre, The Ritz, The Dorchester and Windsor Castle and they have sung for the likes of Cherie & Tony Blair, Richard Branson, Jamie Oliver, Chris Evans and the King of Sweden. Our clients include easyJet, Dulux, Cherie Blair Charity Foundation, Royal Ascot, Windsor Racecourse, Somerset House and Westfield. With audience participation, blended harmonies and quality musicianship, your guests are sure love our lively and fun party starting sets - the perfect way to kick off your corporate or charity event, add a sparkle of glamour to racedays and festivals, spread the joy and good vibes at your wedding reception, surprise colleagues at the office or in an icebreaker situation, and bring the good times as your guests arrive at your party, getting them ready to party from minute one! Calling all lovebirds! We offer a special service for weddings - as well as our fun roaming sets, we can also provide live music during your ceremony, with a small PA if required. Well, your dreams can become a reality! We have done this at several weddings and it always goes down a storm, and provides a unique and memorable moment for you and your guests on your big day.
