OH MY WORD - I’m not sure I can put into words how good this band is. My husband and I have just celebrated our 60th birthdays and my priority was to have a live band to dance to. I hadn’t seen Wired4Sound but found them through Encore. Any nerves I had about them disappeared as soon as I heard their sound check - they are phenomenal. The video does not do them justice. I have friends in bands and a professional singer in the family - they were blown away by them. Everyone was on the dance floor including all the men. Do not hesitate to book this band! They are also very lovely people.

Wired4Sound played at our wedding in Somerset in June and they were nothing short of amazing! From when we first booked them, the communication was great and they checked in a lot over the year from booking to playing. We were a bit nervous about booking a band we hadn't seen play live before, but we had no need to worry. From the minute they started their sound check we knew they were going to be great! They did an excellent job and learning and covering our first dance request for us and from that moment on the dance floor was always full with people from age 7 to 70! They really got the party going and our guests didn't want them to stop playing at midnight! They had a great selection of both classic hits and more modern pop, with some incredible mash-ups thrown in too! We really can't recommend Wired4Sound highly enough! We've had so many compliments on our band since our wedding and we would book them again in a heartbeat!

What do your clients love most about your performances?

We are often complemented on the wide range of styles and eras we cover which is ideal for an audience with a wide range of tastes which for a typucal event will likely be the case. We have rock, pop, soul, disco, motown and a good dose of cheese to keep everyone happy.

Which venues have you performed at in the past?

We have performed at most of the leading hotel venues around Bristol, Somerset, Gloucestershire and beyond that host entertainment events as well as many of the local sporting venues.

Which artists have you been most influenced by?

As our repertoire is so wide ranging we wouldn't pin our influence in any one area or style

What is the most high profile gig you've performed?

We are lucky to have played some lovely venues for some fantastic audiences and some very unique events and supporting great causes such as Great Western Air Ambulance and Reminisence Learning. Also we have supported some high profile organisations for example AXA and The Markey Group to name a couple.

Will the singer be the same as who I see in the videos?

Yes the line up will be as you see in our video however in the unlikely event of unavailabilty or illness we have a squad of former band members that continue to act as dep alternatives should we need them to. You can be sure that all the musicians we use are of a very high standard.

Do you have different line-up options?

Yes - We can operate as a 3 or 4 piece band as well as the standard 5 piece. We have a range of musicians available should the standard line up be un-available.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

We are very happy to work with you to be flexible over timings to make sure you and your guests get maximum enjoyment from the event.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Yes we are very happy to provide recorded music before our performance and during any breaks and afterwards. We're happy to provide a full DJ service for an additional fee of £100. Also if you have specific song requests we will do our best to cater for them.

How much time do you need to set up?

One hour is usually sufficient however as soon as the speakers are in place and connected we can start providing background music to get guests ready for our live performance.

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

Yes we are happy to work with you to tailor the setlist and will also learn the first dance for wedding if possible. we are however very experienced in understanding what makes a wide ranging audience happy.

Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?

Yes - our PA and lighting is included in your quote and you can be assured it is of a very high standard, ideally we require at least a space of 4m x 3m to perform however we've never been unable to fit into the space provided.

Can you learn song requests before the event?

If you have a special song you would like us to learn we will do our best to cater for your needs , similarly if you have special requests we will happily work with you and do our best to make it happen.
