The full scholarship recipient in Nanyang Academy Fine Arts (NAFA) Singapore, Wilson has shown a strong musicianship in his studies and careers in Singapore and international wide. He achieved the highest Grade Point Average (GPA) in the college, Wilson is learning piano as his major, composition for the minor and conducting as part of his interests.
Wilson has shown the innate musical talent since young. He has won numerous awards and prizes in his young age and he has appointed as music director in several musical events and church events. Since he achieved the Indonesian Record for Grade 8 ABRSM Practical Exam with 148 marks out of 150 and featured in the Libretto Magazine London in 2010, his commitment in music has developed significantly and turned up into a young promising musician.
Currently receiving RCS Trust Scholarship to pursue his studies in Royal Conservatoire of Scotland since 2015, he has been renowned as a versatile sight-reader, improviser, accompanist, and as solo performer. He is the resident pianist of Greenock Philharmonic Society and Robroyston Church of Scotland.
Wilson has studied with Aaron Shorr, Victor Sangiorgio, Roy Howat, Drew Hammond, Vanessa Latarche, Steven Osborne, William Fong, Bruce Brubaker, Valentina Lisitsa, Krystian Tkaczewski, Steven Savage, Pascal Gallet, Manfred Fock, Rena Phua, Boris Kraljevic, Zechariah Goh, to name a few.
