Irish fiddle, Polish fiddle, traditional music, wedding, concert

I'm Polish by origin, but Irish by heart. I've loved Irish music since I heard Clannad for the first time. I discovered Donegal with its rich fiddling tradition and fell in love with Irish fiddle. I've started learning classical violin, but after very long break in playing I've decided to focus on traditional music of Ireland and Poland. I hold Higher Diploma in Traditional Music Performance which I received after completing the course at Ballyfermot College of Further Education in Dublin. I took part in many workshops, especially in South-West Donegal. I've also cooperated with musicians of different backgrounds playing music of different genres as a session musician. Currently I teach the fiddle and ukulele to adult starters and children at different ages. I also perform in different venues, especially nursery homes and hospitals because I love sharing my passion with people in need.

I have been cooperating with Wiktoria Mrozowicz for over 1,5 years as a part of the group Krąg Magicznej Białej Pieśni (The Circle of Magical White Song, folk group which sings and shares traditional songs from Poland, Ukraine, Belarus, Czech Republic and Balkans). Wiktoria is a great companion of the group, willingly supports other members in manners of voice training and arranging songs. She is always happy to add a pinch of Irish tradition to our Central and Eastern European repertoire. She loves to perform sets of shared traditions, creating unique sets of Irish/Polish tunes. She is eager to share her performance experiences with the other members of the group. I always gladly turn to her if only we need help, whether it's organizational issue or the choice of the repertoire for upcoming concerts. I highly recommend Wiktoria, if you're looking for something special and love discovering traditional music of your homeland or distant countries.

I had a chance to meet Wiktoria during a private event I had been invited to. It was remarkable! She provided a brilliant set of traditional Irish music pieces and all the guests were thrilled. I must underline that she is very professional and passionate about her job as a musician. It was a terrific experience and I strongly recommend Wiktoria to anybody willing to hire a professional and incredibly talented musician for any types of event!
