Formed in 2019 by Musical Directors Matt Lush & Iestyn Griffiths; "What's the Fuss?" aim to take all the fuss out of organising your day with total flexibility. Should it be your ceremony, reception drinks or evening entertainment, this band can cater for all eventualities. Comprising of Drums, Guitars, Keys, Sax, Trumpet, Vocals and Bass, "What's the Fuss?" are capable musicians who will be prepared to take on specially arranged first dances and further requests. Now also available with either a male singer, female singer or both.

What's the Fuss are quite simply brilliant!! They played for our wedding on the pier in Penarth and guests of all ages were blown away with their talents and the sheer sense of fun they brought to the event :communication in the run up to the wedding was great and quite simply if you are looking for a band to have your guests dancing all evening look no further.... Great people and an awesome band!!!

What do your clients love most about your performances?

We're fun! Of course we take every performance seriously and with immense professionalism but we know the best way to make the audience enjoy their night is if we look like we're enjoying it too!

Which venues have you performed at in the past?

Which artists have you been most influenced by?

We're only interested in music that's going to get the crowd going! Should it be ABBA, Michael Jackson, Bruno Mars or Queen - we will entertain you with a mixture of pop hits from the 70's right through to modern day!

What is the most high profile gig you've performed?

We've been so fortunate to perform annually at Cardiff City Hall for balls. Such a beautiful place and we get an amazing buzz off playing there!

Will the singer be the same as who I see in the videos?

We will do everything we can to provide a performance as advertised to you. However, should there be illness or force majeure, we have a reliable list of deps who can step in to cover. We typically accept gigs based on the availability of members.

Do you have different line-up options?

Yes! We can offer our full line up of 7 (Drums, Bass, Guitar, Keys, Sax, Trumpet & Vocals). OR We can offer our Jazz Quartet option of Drums, Bass, Sax and Keys providing "jazzed up" versions of popular songs. We are normally asked to provide music for reception drinks with this set up.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

We will always do our best to be flexible with timings. However, there is a chance that we could be travelling a large distance for your event and can only be so flexible if timings change in the lead up to your event. Otherwise, we will be happy to change timings if we can.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Absolutely! We can arrange what is needed when you get in touch!

How much time do you need to set up?

At least 1 hour setup and 30 mins for soundcheck so approx. 1hr 30mins.

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

Yes! You can also ask for us to cut particular songs you'd prefer not to hear!

Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?

Yes! Our PA and lighting system is included in your quote.

Can you learn song requests before the event?

For an extra £105 we can prepare a song, should it not be in our set. This typically includes the firs dance!
